A 9–5 + teaching is a far better combo than startup + freelancing. The latter will drain you. For the most part of 2025, trying to build a startup while freelancing nearly broke me mentally. Am now at peace commuting to work and attending to my students during the nights.

A whole industry sprung up around prompt engineering. Courses. Certifications. Frameworks with acronym names. Cheat sheets promising "10 prompts that change your life." People collect them like trading cards. Bookmark them, never use them. It overcomplicates something simple.

Money wasn’t the reason why we couldn’t start our dream startup. Overthinking and lack of skill was. Even with coding agent support, we still can’t build our dream products. Excuse is native to man. Very few people actually execute.

Growth without control is just accelerated failure. We blame "fast growth," but the real culprits are missing systems and zero clarity. Capital doesn't scale confusion; it scales structure. Before we expand, we have to make sure we can track performance weekly, not monthly. Are you scaling your business… or your problems?

Claude feels like they’re trying to be the everything tool. I don’t think your average consumer will adopt it. Too much of a learning curve. Niche applications (Lovable, Canva, etc) have stronger brand affinity.
