@ScottishLabour Can you show a few things you'd change?
What you will cut? Say constitution minister portfolio.
Amount of growth in SNP support from spads and quangos. How you will reduce that.

@ziggy6769 As well as the £120pa million saving on the 2 child cap lift. But it's all doom and gloom. Still it should shore up the continual f ups of this SNP govt.

£820 million of extra spending in Scotland in the budget. The UK gov working for Scotland. The SNP budget will be full of cuts showing they are not working for Scotland. #BetterTogether

@GeorgeFoulkes I think the subtlety is lost on the msm. This will ripple through for the economy in terms of spending. The impact on child poverty is fantastic but will not gain headlines in impact. Some metrics to show the future of these benefits will help.

And they will spend their extra income in shops, cafes and other local businesses creating more jobs and not on yachts made overseas or investing in tax havens like the mega rich
Michael Shanks MP@mgshanks
A pay rise for millions of the lowest paid across the country, delivered by this Labour Government.

@AnasSarwar You need a shopping list showing what you will keep, what you will bin and what you will add. It really is that simple. If it can't be read on a half page spread of the Daily Record you don't stand a chance. I believe most Scots are headline driven and bored with the bashing

I’d like to congratulate @RyderCupEurope on their victory. Your team play the first few days was sensational.
More importantly, I’d like to apologize for the rude and mean-spirited behavior from our American crowd at Bethpage.
As a former player, Captain and as an American, I am ashamed of what happened. #RyderCup

@murdo_fraser Along with the cladding funding. How much has SNP "redirected" over its years in office? Must be numbers available.

Your local pub is at risk of closure thanks to the SNP pocketing funding from the UK Government to help boozers scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/news/politics/…

@afneil Andrew this is crass. That saving could be simply better food or pay a month's subs for a kids dance lessons or football club.

The average five-year fixed mortgage was 5.53% in July last year when Labour came to power.
Last month it was 5.24% — hardly a life-changing difference despite four interest rate cuts by last month (so the government is not exactly flooding people’s pockets with money).
The Bank’s benchmark rate is far from the only determinant of mortgage rates. Not clear the Chancellor understands this.
Rachel Reeves@RachelReevesMP
Since the General Election, interest rates have been cut five times and are now at their lowest level for two years - bringing down the cost of mortgages and loans across the UK. By bringing stability back to the country's finances we're putting more money in people's pockets.

@afneil You do know concrete goes off if not used in time? I suspect it's a planning thing but then I'm not a journalist doing my due diligence.
English

@JimQuirkesq To be fair they did sell the leases for a rock bottom prices compared to other parts of the UK.

Name one wind farm that ScotGov has planned, developed and paid for?
Angus South SNP@AngusSouthSNP
The SNP has ensured Scotland is a renewables superpower - and this new wind farm could power 6 million homes a year. So why are our bills so high? Westminster runs the energy market.
