What are your favorite kind of vinyl variants? Color, black, picture disc, multicolor ? Do you prefer to have multiple to choose from or just one or two options?
@obsolete_record Choosing four from that set of albums was difficult, indeed.
I went with Ironman, It's Dark and Hell Is Hot, Midnight Marauders, and Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.
* In my opinion, Ironman and Supreme Clientele are interchangeable as #1; Ironman got the vote this afternoon.
A very happy release day to Màiri Morrison & Alasdair Roberts, Pete Johnston and friends' latest collaboration, Remembered in Exile: Songs and Ballads of Nova Scotia. Far-travelled Scots ballads and Gaelic lyrical songs with poignancy yet playfulness!

Alasdair Roberts and Mairi Morrison's album of Nova Scotia folk songs, Remembered in Exile, is out at the end of the week and their crew of artists from Canada are celebrating with a release show on 4/25! A beautiful way to watch and hear this record come to life!
@IamJamesMatthew Some new Benny The Butcher on vinyl (both new releases and archival represses), but not many other new titles made available to stores lately.
Màiri Morrison and Alasdair Roberts journeyed to Nova Scotia for a transatlantic collaboration with musical arranger Pete Johnston, which resulted in their new, overdue album, Remembered in Exile: Songs and Ballads from Nova Scotia, out 4/25.

In my opinion, as of this moment and based on my listening pleasure, HWH 11 > Still Praying.
I do like both, but HWH 11 has been in heavy-rotation longer.
What is your opinion on these two releases, @obsolete_record?
