Albo just isnโ€™t the leader for crisis. Itโ€™s painfully obvious. Unresponsive, reactive, diminished by every utterance. First Bondi and now a fuel crisis. Leadership like this leaves the country exposed and vulnerable.

Since 2019, the โ€˜Smartโ€™ Energy Council received over $6.5 million in taxpayer funding. Why is a partisan industry lobby group receiving any government funding? Theyโ€™re the same dodgy organisation that produced false claims that nuclear would cost $600bn and be 4% of the grid.

Australia is not a serious country. Not by a long shot. These people are a joke.

Andrew Hastie is an enigma. Why attack Trump over a fuel shortage when the real problem is Australiaโ€™s lack of preparedness? Doesnโ€™t he know his base generally supports Trump? After a few recent incidents, I donโ€™t think he has any idea what heโ€™s doing. His judgement is terrible.

I'm at the point now where just the sound of Albanese's fucking voice is enough to trigger me

Hear what Albanese said today. He said nobody would regret buying an electric car. The smug inner city wanker thinks farmers can run the joint on Chinese batteries. We're fucked. I'll tell you what, don't let me come across a Labor voter right now.

I'm out of diesel. All the farmers are out of diesel. This is it. We're done for. Albanese and Bowen are directly to blame. This is serious. I promise you. All other countries have diesel, and it averages $1.80 per litre in most countries in the Asia Pacific. But not Australia. Albanese is up to no good. This is crippling.

@offtrack350 @ShackelWill Are you saying Nuclear for AU received millions in taxpayersโ€™ money (as though they were net zero cronies invested in โ€˜unreliablesโ€™ that canโ€™t even generate profits without massive govโ€™t intervention)?๐Ÿค”

@offtrack350 Weโ€™re registered. That doesnโ€™t mean you have tax deductibility. Thatโ€™s another threshold. Please look into what the ACNC actually is. Many of the anti nuclear orgs are also charities.

What is unbelievably dumb is the blind acceptance the ETrucks can do the same job as other trucks, that there are enough being built to do it, that the cost of ownership compares and there is the infrastructure to support them. It's all rose coloured glasses, pie in the sky stuff.
Phill Balding@BaldingPhillip

This trucks lfp battery costs probably $60k and saves $1200 a day Will charge 2000-3000 times Unbelievably dumb to still have brand new diesel trucks on the market

@ShackelWill Hey Will, while you are at it can you reveal where your donations are used? After all, with your organisation also being a registered charity and are denying tax being collected on your donations. Be accountable will

Over $2.5 million in taxpayer funds has gone to a lobby group that was responsible for disinformation about nuclear in the lead up to the last election. The 'Smart' Energy Council, that trades as the Australian Solar Energy Society, is a registered charity with tax deductibility. It was responsible for lies that nuclear would cost $600bn and be 4% of the grid. This is an absolute scandal. When will they be held accountable?
