The OBEA donated $500 worth of non-perishable to the Old Bridge food bank. Thank you to Karen Solano for shopping and Andrew and Dara for dropping it off.

Attending the Labor Management Collaborative pre-convention are OBEA President Andrew Lewis, Vice President Jessica Hametz, new Superintendent Dr. Sasso, and newly re-elected BOE members Jen D’Antuono and Marjorie Jodrey, along with Instructional Council Co-Chair Rachel O’Neil.

This month, our Exec. Board took on the Gameshow Challenge—testing our knowledge, quick thinking, and competitive spirit through a series of high-energy rounds. Big shoutout to Ryan, the G.O.A.T. of the OBEA, for leading the charge and taking home the bragging rights!

Congratulations to Andrew Lewis & Chen Reyes, acknowledged at tonight MCEA Friends of Education Celebration. Andrew was recognized with the Frederick L Hipp Achievement Award. Chen was recognized as the 24-25 MCEA ESP of the Year. Congratulations! 🎉

Red for Ed is back! On select Wednesdays, we are calling on all members to wear red as we stand together in the fight for pension justice and a better future for public education.

Unfortunately, the workshop for this coming Wednesday the 29th has been cancelled. Wellness Bingo, however, is still in full swing!!
