I realized today that a successful summer in my eyes looks something like this: Outgoings: Araujo ~40M Martin ~30M Casado ~30M Total: ~ 100M Incomings: Van de Ven ~35M Vuskovic ~30M Osimhen ~55M Senesi - Free Cancelo - Free Total: ~120M I know the prices for Van de Ven and Vuskovic are low compared to their market values, they are just the values I think other clubs would value them if Spurs were to actually get relegated. I also understand that we aren’t at 1:1 yet, but if the board isn’t lying and we really are 11-12M away, progressing to the quarter finals of the Champions League will cover that number anyway.

then you look deeper and it’s even worse. ticket prices are ridiculous, accommodation is a joke, poor transport between stadiums, everything spread out, and bigger concerns around safety and the general environment. it’s not built with fans in mind at all. this will go down as the worst world cup of all time

i can’t get on with these american stadiums man. feels like a pre season game every time. dead atmosphere, weird camera angles, commentary’s shit even on ITV… everything just feels off. world cup needs moving asap. and don’t even get me started, fans are gonna be on edge the whole time too
