"In a democracy, citizens have the right to privacy, not to anonymity or impunity." "That is why I believe we must... force all these platforms to link every user account to an European digital identity wallet." "This is the only way to really ensure that minors do not access inappropriate content."

It looks as though Vladimir Putin may have ordered an arson attack against the British Prime Minister last year. That is an incredibly serious escalation and shows why we must redouble our efforts with Ukraine and the rest of Europe to resist and deter Putin’s aggression.

We are banning social media access for under 16s. These days kids must find their feet in a world where technology intrudes into every area of their life. I just can’t let that go on anymore. So we’re giving children their childhoods back.
