tips to making reading a habit?

@dogofthesun and subsequently there’s an obsession with reading ‘aesthetically’ which annoys me. if it makes it practically easier to read with a cracked spine then so be it. if i forgot a bookmark and have to dog-ear a page then fine. i don’t understand the drama around it.

i feel like the more you get into literature, the less you romanticize the act of reading. i can't get into bookstagram precisely because it's all "omg what type of reader are you" with pinterest moodboards and all that and i'm like. idk man i just like to read
