@OleLoken @ZacStrikesAgain Thanks Ole! Maaaan... I would have loved to have worked on stuff like that for the rest of my career, but the golden era of animated commercials was drawing to a close in the states. Kinda sucks.

@ZacStrikesAgain I didn’t do the Daffy scenes, but I remember before the animation was in, you just saw a green head when that mask came off.

@ZacStrikesAgain Yeah!! It’s well done, too! I actually had to compare it with mine to see exactly what they changed. It wouldn’t have been easy to alter it back then. I worked on this June 1998, and those were the days where everything was still all on paper!

We were supposed to get a fourth season of #HiHiPuffyAmiYumi, but according to @optimusscotto, there was no word on it: just silence. Ami and Yumi being in their mechs and getting hit by a ray of light, turning into hamsters was one of those episodes.

@puyolover @McXJ9Nuggets Sort of. I think the show was always about toy sales. We were finishing up season 3, and then they asked for a sample of what season 4 episodes would look like. Then the toys finally came out but didn’t sell at Christmas. That was it. It’s normal business stuff.

But to learn that we WERE supposed to get a fourth season after all...😔

@TheCinesthetic I was on Scooby at Rhythm and Hues. WB started the project with an older audience in mind, but decided to age it down mid-production to maximize their audience. Stuff like this happens all the time, so none of us thought anything about it. It wasnt a big scandal or anything.

This Scooby-Doo scene was cut for being too scary. Test audiences were genuinely disturbed by it. The sequence showed a possessed Velma chasing Daphne’s soul, and it pushed the movie further than the studio was willing to go.
