It's new kit release season, so it's time to start the 24/25 kit thread. I will critique every new kit from the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga & 3. Liga once they're officially launched, and rate each one out of 10.

@fussballchef For comparison - Italian teams who won the Scudetto at that time had the Fasces on their shirt, but nobody ever considers that to be part of any club’s badge history

@fussballchef You will know better than me I’m sure; I know Bayern wore an eagle & swastika on their shirt at some point as did others but is there any source or evidence that it was ever adopted as an actual Bayern logo?

Always amazed and infuriated at how many people believe this complete fabrication is legitimate. It couldn’t be more obvious that this logo was crudely made in Powerpoint or something in the 2000s and not in 1938

@footballkitpod Werder Bremen were paid by the city to change from green to a kit that looked like the city flag, but it only lasted a season. Then in 03/04 they introduced orange for no reason, and won the double in their so called parrot kit

One of the more successful colour-switches of recent time was Austria going from white to red in 2004 - coach Hans Krankl wanted to distinguish them from Germany Give us your best and worst examples of clubs or countries changing palettes

Looking at Woltemade’s current situation you really have to ask why he felt compelled to push for a move to the first club who came in for him. No doubt he’d be better off right now if he was still at Stuttgart.

Sometimes I think it would be great fun to referee a football match with the aim of being as erratic as possible. Clearly Tom Bauer has had the same idea

Have never seen the likes of that. Referee says the keeper handled outside the box after trying to dribble back in, yellow card, VAR sends him to check if it’s a red card for DOGSO, long wait and eventually it’s decided the ball was in the box after all.
