Last cycle, BTC.D went up until just after the Fed started to cut rates, and considering rate cuts are likely June at the earliest, it means dominance could go up until July-Aug at the very least. Also, BTC/USD found a local top (June 2019) before BTC.D topped (Sep 2019). Alt Season did not occur until 1.5 years later during massive QE and low interest rates (2021). A lot of people assume that BTC.D will go down when BTC/USD tops (like 2017 and 2021 during low interest rates and QE), but it is possible for BTC.D to go up when BTC/USD tops (like 2019) as 2019 was also during higher interest rates and QT. Of course the main difference between 2019 and 2024 is that in 2019 we did not put in new highs, whereas we have in 2024. I think BTC.D is going to go higher than most people think, and those that keep rotating their BTC to other larger marketcap ALTs in hopes of ALT season may continue to be disappointed, as those ALTs keep bleeding back to BTC. Certainly an interesting discussion topic though!

Din câte am înțeles eu despre lume, putem muri și dispărea oricând. Accidente subite, catastrofe, vreun asteroid observat prea târziu, iarnă nucleară etc. În realitate însă, cel mai probabil vom muri majoritatea de bătrânețe, cancer, inimă, diabet, depresie. Prima e încă inevitabilă dar sigur amânabilă. A doua are nevoie de un leac care e deja în lucru. A treia vine dintr-o combinație de minim 2 dintre alcool, tutun, sedentarism, obezitate. A patra din zahăr și mâncat aiurea. Rar e doar genetică. Ultima e amplificator pentru oricare dintre cele de mai sus. Știu că e simplist dar e un punct de plecare. Știu ce sunt și cum să le țin sub control atât cât e în puterea mea. De aceea cred că voi trăi cel mai probabil peste 100 de ani. Nu vor fi 140, că nu am făcut sport constant, am mâncat prost multă vreme și nu prea am luat suplimente. Să nu uit stress-ul cronic, câteva burnouts și lipsa de somn. Dar am de gând să fac totul mai bine pentru următorii 60 de ani. Vreau un secol pe picioarele mele în care să mă bucur de viață pe planeta asta minunată. Apoi mă voi duce mai departe spre altă formă de existență. Sau nu. Până atunci, sunt ceea ce fac si vreau să fac ce îmi place, ce e bun și folositor. Am tot ce îmi trebuie. Lucrez doar la surplus.
