Journalists need to quote this verbatim.
Don’t sanewash it.

BREAKING: US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is reportedly "paranoid" about losing his job, which Trump Admin officials say contributed to the firing of the US Army’s top general on Thursday, per NY Post.
Details include:
1. Trump Admin officials say Pete Hegseth is worried about Army Secretary Dan Driscoll taking his job
2. Hegseth on Thursday demanded the resignation of Army Chief of Staff General Randy George, Driscoll’s top aide, for reasons that were not publicly stated
3. "This is all driven by the insecurity and paranoia that Pete has developed since Signalgate," an official said
4. "It has really gotten under Hegseth’s skin. He is trying to make everyone around Driscoll suffer for no reason," an official said
There seem to be growing tensions at the Department of War.

@Kevin_D_Jones @SonnyBunch Hey Kevin… shhh. Take a breath. If you’re right everything’s going to be okay. It’s all working out according to the presidents plan!
I sincerely apologize if my hyperbolic response to the Presidents advice to Europe to “take” the oil upset you. Truly, we are in safe hands.
English

@peppercedar @SonnyBunch This is why you morons don't get anywhere.
The straight is not Iranian territory. Its international waters.
You're advocating for piracy by saying Iran should charge for it.
He's saying don't let them.

Australia’s Prime Minister has finished his rare address to the nation. He spoke directly and seriously about the impact of the Middle East war, saying the economic shocks are already hitting families, farmers, truckies, and small businesses and that the reality is, these shocks will be with us for months.
Key points from his speech:
Fuel excise halved, saving 26 cents per litre, and the heavy vehicle road user charge reduced to zero for the next three months.
Government working to bring more fuel onshore and secure regional supply to keep Australia moving.
Australians urged to fill up only what they need, and use public transport where possible, to save fuel for critical industries.
He emphasized that essential workers farmers, miners, nurses, shift workers must be supported first.
He acknowledged the months ahead may not be easy and no government can eliminate these pressures.
Essentially, he promised to do everything possible to protect Australians from the worst of the war, saying: "We will deal with these global challenges the Australian way, working together and looking after each other."
