if we developed class consciousness around viruses and disease. It's not just about covid. We have the power to significantly reduce or even wipe out many viruses that impact our health and abilities. Things that make it harder to fight the ruling bourgeois class.

@perksofbeingHC early RT scores mean nothing now that studios cherrypick review embargos towards publications that are more likely to give them good reviews. RT score should have a minimum reviews requirement at like 50 at least.

Rotten tomatoes is unfortunately a fucking joke because this movie was not good????? I really liked the first one, and went in very excited for this. First two acts were fine. Third act was terrible. A waste of an incredible cast. I’m so annoyed.

Unlike Ready or Not 2, this one is actually deserved. A great adaptation of a great book that is really built for the big screen!!Please see it in theaters if you can!

They're literally hiding the fact that illnesses spread through aerosols. They're literally censoring the information needed for people to be willing to protect themselves.
By doing this, they weaponize misinformation, deny the truth, and contribute to ongoing harm.

@MDMcDuff I totally understand why he felt ljke he had to make the move now. I just think the blowback from Ozzy is a dicey risk than keeping someone in the game who is persuasive, but not gunning for him at all yet. But I don’t blame Christian— I just would have played that differently.

I love Christian, and I totally understand the logic behind his decision, but I think that was the wrong call. Ozzy has always been an emotional player, and taking out Angelina still would have weakened Mike without alienating Ozzy. #Survivor #Survivor50

@yellowpaintcat It has major tonal issues, character inconsistencies, with a major forced plot point clearly inserted just to hit a typical overdone story beat. And some very icky gender related issues imo. They definitely overcorrected with horror.

@perksofbeingHC i havent seen this but as a horror fan i feel like horror movies have weirdly started to be overrated by critics, like final destination 6 has a 92% and it kinda sucked even more than some of the older ones lol. maybe its sort of an overcorrection

@perksofbeingHC They sort of made it like Ozzy never met or knew Mike White. It could also have been that Ozzy spoke about. It was so much a lie but an omission. The whole I want to be his #1 seemed forced to me. Either way. Ozzy looks pissed next week. LOL!!!

@lilsebastianxx I saw a lot of people rolling their eyes at him talking about the stress and self doubt with his job, but like, anyone who knows anything about the industry knows being a show runner is an insanely stressful job no matter how well they’re paid.

@perksofbeingHC Just my opinion, I sense a lot of hater energy toward Mike this season. Unless its something I’m missing, I see a generally cool..chill guy. Not a “bully.” Seems anything he says/anything said to him gets highly scrutinized, everything’s underhanded & all about white lotus 🙃

@writingcliches I don’t really blame the edit tbh. Christian was just speculating, but we as viewers know it’s not just a ploy to get on tv, because we heard that they’re friends from Mike himself. They probably just didn’t reveal that info to their tribe to avoid getting targeted for it.

@perksofbeingHC Right?? The edit had to ignore all the other reasons Ozzy might want Mike around bc it had to foreshadow the boot and emphasize Christian’s paranoia about keeping Mike in the game. But… come on. Mike is 1 of only 3 people who have wanted to work with Ozzy so far.
