40 hours in the game tells you it’s time to start playing for real and proceeds to ask you to play for another 40 hours and make ~15-ish make-or-break decisions that send you anywhere from starting a cult to a killing game to starting a polycule to the end of the world (kinda)

Is there actually a choice based game where your choices ACTUALLY REALLY matter? Like, the story is actually significantly different. No Telltale or LIS game has achieved this. LiS2 probably sold the illusion the best. Until Dawn and Heavy Rain maybe?

since i'm on the topic of weird unused hundred line art. did you know that eito's death cgs in retsnom and coming of age have unused variants? the first was shown in the trailer, the second is in the game files....! i don't know why eito gets 2 unused death cgs in particular.
