If you can’t find a way to get your best midfielder into your system, your system isn’t worth pursuing. Fernandes, Mainoo and Casemiro all look so comfortable right now… none of this Mainoo is battling with Fernandes nonsense.

I don’t necessarily think you can mock Ruben Amorim’s thoughts on Kobbie Mainoo as a player, everyone has opinions. It’s more a concern about how he made no single effort to put Mainoo in situations where his outstanding qualities could thrive and thus benefit the team.
