Scaling is something we’re still exploring ourselves, knowing that it won’t/can’t follow the usual logic. So for now, it’s finding ways to extend these principles into different contexts and practices/projects. It’s very much an open question we’ve been thinking about since 2017. 😅

over the past few years we’ve been exploring how ecological thinking can inform the tools, spaces, and stories we create drawing 🐌🍄✨ from systems science, natural processes, and the behaviours of the biological world. this ongoing (and mostly internal) research has been feeding into a range of projects across different scales and contexts, all asking in their own way: how do we live, build, and imagine differently in response to a changing world? 🌐 (+ for anyone interested, we’re using the visual mapping tool by @sootworld_ )

we were recently interviewed by GHARAGE VC for their latest research paper exploring how airports are evolving and what they could become. we spoke about ambient systems, spatial technologies, and the quieter ways environments can guide movement without relying on screens or inducing stress. this ties into an ongoing line of inquiry within our internal research and innovation lab (launching soon), where we’ve been prototyping alternative guidance models that prioritise intuition, sensory intelligence, and predictive spatial design. 🪼🧭🌀
