I thought my ancestral village in Belarus was basically abandoned but actually they have this cool wooden statue of some creature and even have their own history museum. I really need to visit my roots if I ever go to Belarus again.

@BadFilmTakes1 the lyrics to the song “into the night” especially feels like it’s coming straight from Laura beyond the grave. it makes the scene in s1 when Cooper hears it really eerie.

I love how Julee Cruise always appears in Twin Peaks as a mourning angel for the senseless evil inflicted on Laura and Maddy. It makes the story feel far more universal, as if she’s crying out for all victims of abuse.
