I would have liked to give pi.dev a try, with models provided via cursor, but this doesn't seem to be an option atm. Or am I gettings something wrong @mitsuhiko ?

A dev got so frustrated watching his AI agent write 500 lines for a 5-line problem that he built a fix. He called it Ponytail. Named after the guy every team has - long ponytail, oval glasses, been there longer than the version control. You show him fifty lines; he looks at them, says nothing, and replaces them with one. Now your agent does the same. Before writing anything, it looks for a reason not to. 80-94% less code. 47-77% cheaper. 3-6x faster. The best code is the code you never wrote. @steipete I wish my agents could fetch all the customer feedback and data from Sentry, prioritize and brainstorm tickets with me in a triage session, do the work while I sleep and then do it all over again - multiple times a day. Anyone doing this?

Go is a great programming language, but we missed a extensible mail abstraction (SES, SMTP, etc ...) so we quickly build mailx (github.com/go-mailx/mailx). It can be extended with multiple adapters.

Claude is amazing at optimizing sql queries, verifying index usages, checking query plans etc. `CROSS JOIN LATERAL` is the new default.
