"I’ve been into Islam for the past nine years, and as many of you know, I was born into a Christian home, but I married a Muslim. I’ve gotten to a point in my religious life where I know what I want, and I will do what I want.
I wasn’t forced into Islam at all. I remember when I was about to get married to my husband, one thing my in-laws did really blew my mind. They gave me a few weeks of lectures before my marriage. They wanted me to see Islam in a different light. They never forced me; they just wanted to explain what Islam is.
I remember telling my parents that I was marrying a Muslim. You know what my dad said? “You have my full support.” And that gave me the confidence to fully step into Islam.
Over the course of nine years, I am still growing into Islam by myself. One thing I’ve realised is that you cannot make a decision for yourself if you don’t seek knowledge for yourself. Even the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, the Qur’an was revealed to him over the course of 25 years. So who am I?
I have experienced Islam in different ways and I’ve discovered the beauty of Islam. I’m proud to say that this is the first Ramadan in nine years where I’ll pick up my Qur’an and read it to understand. And guys, Alhamdulillah, I’m enjoying Islam to the fullest.
It’s great to practise a religion and all of that, but what’s inside of you? How do you treat your fellow humans? How do you look at your neighbour? How are you to people around you?
That is the true religion. Even though we have a guide, what’s inside you is what will lead you to heaven..."
- Popular food creator Chef T opens up about her spiritual journey, revealing how she transitioned from Christianity to Islam over the past nine years.

@IamAmaoosa @EwaAdejoke He died, your sins died, he rose, and your rose again...

@EwaAdejoke If only you are not as dull as a stone. You'd realize he died and came back to life.. even your book says Jesus will come back to judge the world. Including the dead..
Meaning he will also judge Muhammad..

Dear Cross @Elkrosmediahub,
To start with: Suicide Bombing Isn’t Jihad. I know many of you have been wired to believe that when a terrorist goes into a mosque or a market and kills people, he is doing Jihad. Let me educate you and your likes on what you do not know, because the media has also helped paint a very inaccurate picture.
First of all, you mentioned that it feels like different versions of Islam are taught in different geopolitical regions.
Yes, Islam has different schools of thought, sects, and jurisprudential differences.
But let me also state this as an absolute fact: there is absolutely no accepted version, sect, or school of thought in Islam that teaches terrorism, bloodsucking, or the murder of innocent people.
The rules of Islam are universal and strict. Suicide itself is a major, catastrophic sin in Islam. Murder is even a greater sin. The Quran explicitly states that killing one innocent soul is like killing all of humanity. Therefore, the concept of suicide bombing is a double contradiction of Islamic law. It is an invention of political extremists, psychopaths, and warmongers.
Real Jihad simply means to struggle. And when it involves physical combat, it has strictly regulated rules of engagement laid down by the Prophet (peace be upon him) over 1400 years ago. You cannot kill women, you cannot kill children, you cannot destroy places of worship, you cannot harm priests or monks, and you cannot kill non-combatants. Sneaking an explosive device into a mosque to blow up civilians is not Jihad. It is cowardice.
If you truly want to understand how this started, you need proper historical context.
As opposed to what many Nigerian Islamophobes believe, modern suicide terrorism did not even originate with Muslims. The Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka, a secular nationalist group, actually perfected the suicide vest and carried out the highest number of suicide bombings in the 20th century.
In the Middle East and Africa, modern terrorism grew out of geopolitical instability, foreign invasions, and the funding of proxy militias by the countries you bow to during the Cold War. These extremist groups simply hijacked Islamic terminology to recruit vulnerable people and justify their political power grabs. Islam is merely a victim of their branding.
You do not need to even take my words for it; I advise you to read the book "Dying to Win: The Strategic Logic of Suicide Terrorism" by Robert Pape. For context, Robert is an American political scientist, but he isn't as biased as you are.
His extensive university research analyzed every suicide terrorist attack globally from 1980 to 2003 and concluded that there is little to no connection between suicide terrorism and Islamic fundamentalism. It is almost entirely a strategic, political weapon used by rebel groups, not a religious mandate.
The biggest tragedy of this entire misconception is ignoring who the actual victims are. The overwhelming majority of victims of terrorism globally, and specifically in Nigeria, are Muslims. In Nigeria alone,
out of the tens of thousands of people slaughtered by Boko Haram and ISWAP over the past decade, the absolute vast majority have been Muslims in the North East (Source: Global Terrorism Index).
When a bomb goes off in a market in Maiduguri or inside a mosque during Maghrib prayers in the holy month of Ramadan, the casualties are fasting Muslims.
And this why I say, it is not a matter of Muslims killing Muslims. True Muslims do not kill Muslims. When an attacker detonates a bomb among worshippers, you must understand the clear distinction. One is a Muslim bowing to his Lord, and the other is not. One is a human being practicing his faith, and the other is a monster hiding behind a stolen religious identity.
Terrorism has no religion. We must stop allowing the actions of godless criminals dictate how we view a faith of nearly two billion people.
Thank you for your attention.

Suicide bombing in Muslim dominated areas during Ramadan, is mind boggling tho. Feels like different versions of Islam are taught in different geopolitical regions of the country.

If you see this please comment with Happy Eid so you can help me fight the algorithm‼️
A quick reminder that we’re here.
When you celebrate your holidays, remember the people of Gaza too.
This is one of my favorite videos despite how short it is. I tried to focus on the opinions of a few random, ordinary people, just to see what their traditions for this holiday look like.
Each of them has a simple dream… a normal day, a normal joy, a holiday like anywhere else in the world.
But in Gaza, even the simplest dreams can feel far away.
Thank you for watching and Happy Eid❤️

Dear Americans, please tell your government to stop killing us and destabilizing our continent using terrorist proxies.
