I used to think things like that the offsides rule was too strict and there wasn’t enough scoring and all that stuff. But I’ve come around. The game is good as it is. Even getting knocked out on penalty kicks. Maybe not ideal. But worth it for the overall drama and heartbreak.

I think this bull market is still far from over. From a fundamental point of view, things already look stretched and expensive, but that’s only part of the picture. If you look at market psychology, the party is clearly still going. Momentum stocks are just catching their breath, while other sectors still have plenty of catch-up potential. Where this rally ultimately ends up, nobody really knows. But in phases like this, with elements of irrational exuberance, a lot can still happen. In short: fundamentals look overheated, but momentum is still doing the heavy lifting. The party isn’t over yet. That said, some of the strongest performers will probably never see their old highs again. I’m thinking of names like $AIXA or $VECO. For semiconductor equipment makers, valuations above ~11x price-to-sales start to look stretched. A lot of us have been conditioned by 15 years of software multiple expansion, but equipment makers operate with very different margin structures. Most of my largest long-term positions currently don’t have any direct AI hardware exposure. In the AI space itself, I’m mainly participating through short-term trades at the moment.

If it starts breaking the box that would be an issue technically. 3-6 month catalyst: NGSRI This award will not pump revenue near term but change their long term revenue trajectory. After the NGSRI pump I could see the PPS deflating again as reality of many months of LRIP (low rate production) before latter 2027 / 2028ish FRIP happens. i.e. the contract award is ABC but the actual revenue in bulk happens ABC + 16-18 months later.

These are my "big 3" I am seeking to accumulate the LEAPs during this cycle Already big on $LPTH and it's holding up the best on the weekly; $UMAC has risk for more downside on the weekly. Those 2 stories I know the roadmap and they have a niche as a unique component player (former) or size, first to market, and public vs private will be the moat (latter). $KOPN is both more speculative and it's ramp in revenue is farther out. Also it has more technology it needs to figure out. This side quest with AI is something I am still trying to wrap my head around, not much makes sense to me (if the technology is so earth breaking why is it being funded by such a small partner and why isnt $CRDO or $LITE buying out the entire company to get the technology) Anyhow I digress, I bought it for the defense angle. I have other ideas but they are more speculative and risk laden OR the stock PPS is too high to build a big LEAP position. $VELO doesn't have LEAPs and has some risks associated with it as well. Last, some names have broken down so badly like $ONDS $RCAT they are not in a place to accumulate as they could go much lower on their weekly charts.
