i'm seeing a lot of folks moving to BLR and here's a few tips:
- live within 5 km of your office. the traffic isn't a joke
- when it rains, autos charge the same price as gold, if you can find one in the first place
- never order Meghana biryani if you're alone
- do a food tour. you wont be disappointed. some favs: Veena Stores for idli, Brahmin's Coffee, Mahesh lunch home, umesh for dosa etc.
- avoid third wave if you want to cowork
- dont try figuring out what "1st cross, 2nd main, 3rd block" actually means

Career advice for young people: You can outwork your inexperience with hustle and preparation. People want to work with people with experience because it's a leading indicator of competence. So if you can demonstrate competence upfront, people won't care whether you have a degree or years of experience.

idk what am i dreaming these days... had a scary dream where i get a mail from the company that offer letter nahi milega because plag detected during OAs (and idk why the screen had kimi 2.5 on it, the company was using it for plag detection) and like in the dream only ,now im thinking about my backup offers and how the ctc is lower this that... then i think my brain gained consciousness for a sec and I was reasoning w myself that OA to offline hua tha and line by line i wrote the code with my hand , and then i suddenly woke up lol. such a stupid dream, but when you wake up youre just relieved to know you were dreaming. Pretty weird things i dream these days, pehle bilkul sapne nahi aate the. us din bhi koi ulta seedha horror eerie sa sapna aaya tha 😭

You do things that seem absolutely foolish to others, you spend weekends resting or hustling, to the outside world you are only existing (not really living), you are zoned out in most conversations because you are thinking how to solve something. The list doesn’t end.
When you see somebody around you like this, don’t judge them because even if you do, they simply don’t care as they’re too zoned out in their own thoughts 🥲
