@hausen13 @camhardy513 Are you for raising taxes to fund after-school programs, affordable housing, and social welfare to help lift families out of poverty and allow for these kids to have safe and secure places to go to give them a better fighting chance?

@camhardy513 Dude you’re so right. Nothing needs to change. What happened yesterday is fine and acceptable. This summer is going to be awesome and violence free! Share your little map again! Everything is totally fine.

Free metro buses had nothing to do with this. The kids had their own transportation. Adding bus riders to the mix plays to your base. Most bus riders look like me and you and are simply trying to go to work. Instead of feeding into racist tropes about us to serve your base go look at the facts. Metro been doing free opening day fares for at least a decade.
Christopher Smitherman@voteSmitherman

Free metro bus rides. No curfew. They advertise no curfew for a week. 80 degree weather. This wk teen takeover in Price Hill. CPS on spring break. City Hall had ALL this info prior to Opening Day. No support for police. @CinFop The Mayor & Council still missing in action.

@U_arctos Id love to hear what these people think are viable solutions that Aftab can snap his fingers and implement. They just want to see blood bc theyre racist. All real solutions (mutual aid, enhanced welfare, affordable housing, etc) they'll scoff at bc they hate their community

seen a couple grifters now falsely claim there was "no curfew." what exactly do y'all want? a curfew for everyone (not just minors)? a start time of 5pm?

@ROCKYBOIMAN50 Theres no evidence that punitive methods work. Evidence proves the opposite. The proven methods involve investing in community programs, education, mutual aid, etc. your side will never believe that bc you love the idea of throwing people behind bars bc it makes you feel superior

Sadly, it’s hard to get upset anymore about the violence in downtown Cincinnati. Deep down, we all know the solution but we have to PRETEND like we don’t: More arrests, stiffer penalties on law breakers, longer sentences..a tougher, no nonsense approach from the top, down…
700WLW@700wlw

Opening Day in @CityOfCincy ends with police in riot gear breaking up large groups of unruly teens causing disturbances throughout downtown and in OTR. This video from Sam George shows the problems at The Banks

The Reds are at risk of losing a lot of their pitching depth this off-season. Which pitchers at risk of leaving would you like to see return?

@LanceMcAlister This team is no where close to winning in the playoffs if they make it there. The best option would be a reboot. Trade glass Joe and Trey restart with a rookie qb contract and the additional picks to rebuild the Offensive and defensive lines.

You’ve been living this for over five weeks. Feeling this. Absorbing it like a blindside hit. A #Bengals season that started with hopes, dreams and excitement, took a sad and gutting turn with Joe Burrow’s injury. Then, things turned dark, ominous, and hopeless as Jake Browning melted down before our eyes. The last three weeks have felt like we were thrust at warp speed back to the 90’s. Visions of Akili Smith, David Shula, Bruce Coslet, David Klingler dancing in our heads…. I’ll admit that I walked into Paycor Stadium for Bengals Line this week cringing at the thought of 12 more games. The volume of cries for tanking and draft talk was already being raised. Fans were flipping the calendar to count days til pitchers and catchers reported. It felt desperate. Well, desperate times called for desperate measures. On Tuesday, in perhaps the biggest and boldest in-season move in franchise history, the organization dropped back to pass and threw a Hail Mary. A trade. But not just any trade. An intra-division trade….with….the Browns. For Joe Flacco. Wait, what……..on…..earth? A trade so surprising, I feared being duped by the report. A 40-year old, 18 year veteran QB, jumped in a car with his wife and was driven five hours to Cincinnati. All the while, he was absorbing a crash course in Zac Taylor’s offense…over the phone. It’s stuff movies are made of. But will this screenplay produce a horror flick, a fairy tale story of a comeback and redemption….or a slapstick comedy? Tuesday night on Sports Talk, words like ‘hope’ and ‘revival’ were used by callers. The trade played to a 72% approval rating for my Twitter poll. The dissenters declared a fear for Flacco’s well being…and/or longed for Russell Wilson or Jameis Winston. My lunch conversation with friends this week boiled down to this cornucopia of feelings: 1. “I’m in on the Bengals”. Just a game out in the AFC North and one game out of a playoff spot. Veteran QB. Gun for an arm. 12 games left. 7-5, 8-4 seems doable. 2. “I’m ‘out’ on the Bengals”. No chance. They are cooked. 3. “I have no idea what to expect, but I’m here for it”. Can’t wait to see how this looks come Sunday at Lambeau. Well, what do you think? Let’s discuss tonight on @700wlw Sports Talk.

The other alternative was mass unfettered illegal immigration which directly compromised safety of American citizens, pushed us further into debt & was a slap in the face to Americans who can’t afford groceries. If I have to pick between 2 extremes, I’m choosing deportations every time.

I’m really sorry but what the fuck did you think you were voting for when you endorsed a guy that had “MASS DEPORTATIONS NOW” signs at his rally? Are you a retard?
Home of the Brave@OfTheBraveUSA

Theo Von on DHS using him in a deportation snuff film: “My father immigrated here from Nicaragua. One of my prized possessions is…his immigration papers from when he came here — I have them in a frame...This was just fucked up. It was fucked up.”
