@anomal0car1s yep yep agreed 100% DS has numbers but jjk impact and motion is on another level. jjk got hollywood celebrities doing gojo domain expansion sign but then again as u said both are not on the level of other animes in the legacy tier but my point is death note should be in legacy

@prodigykoo I'd argue JJK has had signficantlyl more reach culturally than DS. Sheer numbers wise DS matches or surpasses JJK, but the ridiculously large impact that JJK's characters, memes, and concepts has to be disproportionate. Neither of them match up to any of the others on the list.

controversial opinion: death note is more of a legacy than demon slayer. non anime fans know the concept of death note, light and L. ds is popular but its more or less in the same tier as jjk both sit in the same table.

Jujutsu Kaisen is the most popular “anime” anime in the world by far BUT, there’s this tier above called “legacy” anime which only consist of - Pokemon - One Piece - Naruto - Dragon Ball - *NEW* Demon Slayer So technically, JJK is the 6th most popular anime rn
