P: Punjab
A: Afghania (historically referring to the North-West Frontier Province, now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)
K: Kashmir
S: Sindh
I: Added for easy pronunciation (making "Pak" into "Paki")
TAN: The suffix from Baluchistan
Our ancestors combined the areas where Muslims were already in Majority and named the cluster "Pakistan"
Our ancestors didn't suddenly appear from some part of the world because Europe wasn't accommodating them.

Few days ago, I visited the Taxila Museum (it’s not far from where I live), and I was genuinely impressed. It’s a beautifully maintained museum with an incredible collection of artifacts from Ancient Pakistan. A must visit.

Sometimes I wonder why Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa remained buried under gazillions of tons of sand for millennia, only to re-emerge in the late 1920s, just as the Pakistan Movement was taking shape.
Isn’t that almost divine? As if the Indus Valley itself rose up in revolt against the revolting idea of being subsumed by the Gangetic can’t-even-call-it-a-civilisation.

Pakistan doesnot need to ' claim ' IVC , we are the IVC heartland.
The mature phase of Indus valley civilization not Sindhu - Saraswati ( standard academic name IVC / Harrapan) was centered in present day Pakistan.
The iconic fully developed urban centres Harrapa, Mohenjodaro and Ganwerivala are in Pakistan , these sites remain the heart of civilization.
Rakhigarhi , while a large eastern site is part of the peripheral extension, not the core .
The mature urban planning, standarized weights, seals , drainage system and monumental architecture reached the peak in the indus plain of Pakistan.
This civilization didnot suddenly appear in Bhirrana, Haryana, it evolved from Mehrgarh(7000 BCE) in Balochistan over millennia.
The overwhelming majority of significant artifacts, sculptures , seals and treasures from the major excavated sites ( including the famous priest king) are preserved in Pakistani museums and institutions .
Pakistan is the true custodian of Indus valley civilzation's heartland and legacy .

Considering Pakistan is acronym 'Ancient Pakistan' makes even more sense as Punjab, Afghania, Kashmir, Sind, Balochistan already existed.
Pakistan state grouped them and inherited their history.

Ancient Pakistan is as plausible as Ancient India.
The core issue is your post-1947 appropriation of pakistani history to inflate Hinduism and fake indian nationalism. Instead of owning your own legacy, you salivate over Pakistan’s.
Pakistan has a very unique identity with a unique history, separate from most of India. Pakistanis rejected this forcible Indianization in 1947, and we will continue to reject it.
Over 1,500 Indus Valley sites have been excavated, still there is absolutely zero evidence linking the IVC to Hinduism or Vedic religion. You also have zero cultural or civilisational continuity with IVC, you don’t even know their language. Most major IVC urban centers are in Pakistan, The Indus River itself flows through Pakistan, Mehrgarh, which is an IVC precursor, is also in Pakistan. Pakistanni history is much richer than India. So claim what is yours, and expect pushback when you steal what isn’t.
Lastly, Islam is one of the most important part of Pakistani history and its spiritual evolution. If that pains any Indian, endure it.
