The US State Department is preparing to launch a pilot program that would allow certain tourist and business visa applicants to pay an additional US$750 fee for an expedited interview appointment.

An American man who has pleaded guilty to supplying Jamaican scammers with identity information of millions of US citizens has been sentenced to almost 11 years in prison.
He is 57-year-old Troy Murray from North Carolina.
Murray has developed a name in Jamaica and has been mentioned in a hit song about scamming by dancehall artiste, Valiant.
