The birthday of Mass Effect 3 is a great opportunity to highlight its modding community. We've always been a niche scene, but over the past 14 years we've delivered projects that completely overhaul the experience -- no different than Skyrim's largest mods. Some highlights: 1⃣ LE3 Diversification Project: What if the game had a much larger budget? Diversifies NPCs and locations, backports DLC assets into vanilla content, and introduces a bunch of polish. Very lore-friendly. Characters would then text you based on your choices during a playthrough. It added a lot of worldbuilding and nice characterization, and Becca restores them with studio-quality implementation. Link: nexusmods.com/masseffectlege… 3⃣ Citadel Epilogue Mod: Autoola and Deager flawlessly change the Citadel DLC so that it plays as an epilogue, after the ending and with no references to the Reaper War. The incredibly talented Tajfun403 brings them back for biotic classes. Seems like the fumble regarding @Play2XKO is from @Twitch's side. The fact it was pushed through their "Sponsorship portal" with the listed compensation as "Free Bonus Subs" and had listed deliverables is where it's gone wrong. A shame but glad this may not be a new trend.
