This really is short but to the point. One News is determined to always hear both sides of the story, and this short station ID is proof of that. But unlike ANC and BNC, One News plays its SID in the middle of a show, not before it.

Last year, the Bilyonaryo News Channel went off air in observance of the Triduum, both on free TV and in cable/satellite. Most likely they'll stick to the script this season, whereas One News and ANC will remain on the air with some religious programming in place.

'It's Showtime' will be airing on Maundy Thursday and Holy Saturday. They won't air on Holy Friday as Kapamilya Channel and GMA have both reserved the noontime slot for its annual presentation of the 'Siete Palabras' or the 'Seven Last Words'.

Times are really changing. Why are we still the only country observing something extremely solemn every Holy Week? Spain, the country who brought Christianity to the Philippines, remains business as usual even during Maundy Thursday and Holy Friday.

And as we all know, Net 25 will be business as usual, due to its affiliation with the Iglesia ni Cristo. INC treats the Triduum as a 'long holiday'; Holy Week according to them doesn't exist on the Bible.

GMA has confirmed they'll still air '24 Oras' on Maundy Thursday and Holy Friday. ABS-CBN's Kapamilya Channel will not air 'TV Patrol' on those two days. They'll resume on Holy Saturday instead.

If UP loses to Ateneo on the Wednesday after Easter, they're eliminated from the Final Four. Their hopes rest on them winning at least two or three matches down the stretch and hope either one of FEU, UST or Adamson lose two or three as well.
