The spirit of Mardi Gras was brought to Bronte Beach today to celebrate equality and diversity. Nippers (and parents) were decked out in rainbow swim caps and coloured zinc, while Bronte Beach was awash in a sea of colour to show that everyone is welcome in the ocean.

Was told of a warehouse sale over the weekend- 200 beds, fridges, washing machines, TVs, pots, pans, cutlery, ironing boards from a supplier of furnishings for landlords. The tenants were all foreigners who cannot get back into the country and have 200 empty apartments.
