Looks like the Idris lasers are still broken vs Polaris in 4.8.0 PTU? The Idris took a full 30 minutes to bring down a single NPC Polaris, and that’s with tons of shots still not registering properly due to desync/hitreg issues, as described. With the Aegis Tiburon (the new laser-focused Hammerhead variant) heading to live soon, how do you think it’s actually going to perform in practice? Will the big beams feel satisfying and effective, or are we looking at another capital ship that struggles against current NPCs until more backend fixes land?

@Draco_o7 I literally just want to know what hard points is on it, shields and armor stats. I could care less if it looked like a borg cube. if it’s less than 2 size 5 or 4 size 4 take it back I’ll use a guardian shiv f8 or a stinger . Don’t “need” another ship unless it has new value.

@KellyLMcCarty K it is my opinion sls is a waste of money with commercial corps on scene, BUT to your point NASA has spent around 15% so far on sls compared to Apollo adjusted for inflation and Apollo 11 was the third trip to the moon with 2 rehearsal 8 and 10 prior to attempting a landing.

Can someone explain why we’re only planning to orbit the moon instead of landing on it? With all the money being spent just to go around it, it definitely raises questions about how we managed to land there before.
