@mtmalinen I would stick with your first comment. The statement wasn't nuancing this, I would think is more of a off-ramp to Gulf states, an opportunity to close their air space to US. It might also be used by Iran as a further strikes if these states are not taking the off ramp. To be seen

A correction.
This, naturally, applies only to the countries that are not currently engaged with Iran. All Gulf countries from where the U.S. is launching its attacks are excluded, not to mention Israel.

Iran announces that it will cease attacking neighboring countries, for now, unless it is attacked again. I consider this to be a wise strategic decision, but what about the Strait?

@cirnosad Chill, nothing is happening in Romania. Today are the announced territorial defence air alarm drills. They are normal, at every few years to test the infrastructure-air alarm sirens. It was widely advertised on all media channels so the people not panic.
