Currently in Austin, training as an MMA Fighter, moved here after growing up in West Virginia, and moving to Kansas City. Austin is good if you have a vehicle, and if you can stand the traffic. Where I’m from, a 20 mile drive is roughly 20 minutes. Good luck getting 5 miles here in 20 minutes. Feel free to reach out to me via DM if you have any specific questions about Austin.

@Suhail_Khan0008 Motivation is amazing! You just have to have the discipline to accomplish tasks, motivated or not. I love waking up feeling motivated, but if I don’t, that’s not going to change the outcome of tasks I have planned for that day.

Motivation is overrated Waiting to feel motivated means you’ll rarely start. Successful entrepreneurs rely on discipline, not feelings

How many times do you train a week? If you're tired, do you just train through it, or do you take a day off?

@gbscoach THIS!!! I've been training multiple martial arts to prepare for my first amateur MMA fight. If I was just to prepare by only learning Kickboxing, Wrestling, etc. I'd get killed.

@Tekzedits and the truth is, the White Belt is much harder to get than the Black Belt, because most people never start. Most people never walk into that gym they’ve been thinking about going to. If you’re on the fence about joining, i recommend going to sign up today.

@Tekzedits What’s do you mean by, “when I start?” The reason I ask this question is because we had a conversation after our Jiu Jitsu practice yesterday discussing which of these belts are harder to get.
