lrt real. I'm someone with low empathy but I try my absolutely damndest to be someone with a lot of sympathy, you can just feel empathy but its a conscious effort to be sympathetic

Empathy being thought of as a touchy-feely thing rather than a logical skill that’s essential for understanding other people’s behavior is one of the biggest ongoing psyops of all. Thoughtfully relating to others’ problems is SYMPATHY. You’re thinking of SYMPATHY. Not empathy.

it really pisses me off the way everyone uses "weird" as a moral category now. "if you do this you're weird" actually means being called Evil. "can you not support weird things" actually means the things you like are Evil. moral virtue being conflated with normality is maddening
