FLORAL FIREWORKS A eucalyptus bud,  captured in timelapse, bursts open like a natural firework. Unlike most flowers, these unique blooms have no petals—just fluffy stamens creating the display.

I am seeing a lot of news in the press (at least in Spain) saying that botanists "have decided to get rid of all offensive names on plants". As always some media do not contrast and misinform, this is what has happened. 👇🏻
