Why are stylists not playing and flocking around with the collection? Why not use the top from 3 looks and the pants from 12 instead of pulling the entire look 8? Is it a contact or PR thing?

styling highly depends on external factors. brand approval, timing, availability, budget, etc. if those pieces don’t align, the look doesn’t happen—regardless of skill.

one might can never be overdressed but one can definitely be over-styled.

saw a post that gave a aspiring fashion assistants a one year road map and i just want to say — the job of a stylist is extremely nuanced. you cannot confidently learn what you need within a year. my advice? enter the space to learn first and foremost.
