Observation from the 1st day of Farm Progress. I was super excited to see some brands bringing back simple and proven designs. This grain cart is very similar to my 938 model. Will be released for 2025 as the 1150 model. Smaller auger (save $20k over the 20”+ inch auger) simple in/out adjustable spout, no tracks. Just a reliable workhorse that does what it’s supposed to without the frills. Will we see a resurgence of this kind of equipment in the coming years?

Spent the day scouting corn fields in eastern MO, found tar spot in over half the fields. GLS and NCLB was in almost all of them and a couple had physoderma. All what I would call light pressure but enough to monitor. Most were VT or R1 and will get a fungicide application.

More N plus Sulfur in Auxvasse, MO. Nitrogen test came back with lots of fields having only 50# or less left from fall anhydrous.
