@mf_invest @Khambatta @InverseInvestor @vishalmittal22 Full time investors have to be prepared for major declines in portfolio values even in quality stocks .. One never knows when 67X will become just 2X . A small snapshot of history to pinned & revisited again and again

If it was not strait of Hormuz, the world wouldn’t have cared about this war between USA and Iran, just like no one is talking about Ukraine and Russia anymore.

There’s an old trader’s adage: When the market stops selling off on bad news, buy it. That’s often how bottoms form. It’s a wise concept. And I’m seeing it echoed everywhere right now. A lot of people are looking at this tape and thinking: “Wow. The market is strong. Time to get long.” Maybe. But before you do, ask one more question. Is this strength from exhaustion, or disbelief? Those are not the same thing. Exhaustion means sellers are spent. The bad news is priced in. The market has already paid the cost. Disbelief means the market still thinks the problem will go away. It isn’t absorbing or digesting the risk. It’s ignoring it. One is a bottom. The other is a trap. The crowd sees “strength.” The truly wise trader asks "What kind of strength is it?"

Only problem is you don't where 80% starts or where 100% is . Most important activities are not goal oriented with clear objectives and deadlines they are like long journey where you keep discovering yourself .. Love , Career , friendship . New business etc ..

Dear girls, marry a trader. He already handles Trump’s mood swings every day, so yours won’t scare him. Plus, he’s extremely loyal, the market breaks his heart daily and he still never leaves. Cheating? Almost impossible. Even on a date he’ll be busy checking charts instead of looking at other girls. And when he makes big money, nothing can ruin his day… Going out with friends? - Sure. Expensive restaurant? - Yes. Need money? - Take it.

@jaganmsna The wage has gone up by 5-6 times. Still he can’t afford the commuter bike. What we are missing is the effect of privatisation of education, healthcare and the insane housing bubble.

15 years back a worker earning 6000 was able to afford a motorcycle for conveyance easily. Today the same guy earns 30k and is not able to replace his 15 year old bike. I’ve said it in the past, but it’s not something India wants to admit. Nor the fact that the average worker today is earning 12k and not 30k.

@Bramma_PS @LadyVelvet_HFQ UAE will take much longer to revert to normal esp if this war extends for another 2/3 weeks Many Chickens from West have run off .. Donkeys / Mules from South Asia have stayed back .. UAE has prove itself as safe destination. That cannot happen unless Iran is destroyed

@LadyVelvet_HFQ We all know when the war ends things are not only going to normal, the economy will actually skyrocket to new heights. In fact UAE has not only proved it is safe, it has also proved it is powerful and can defend any aggression.

Right now is the best time to be in Dubai. No traffic. Hotels 70% off. Rent down 30%. Empty beaches. Dubai Mall full of locals - zero tourists. Some water parks free for residents. Feels like time slowed down. Like early COVID but without the panic. Dubai is normally one of the fastest cities on earth. Right now someone hit pause. I’m enjoying every second of it. But here’s why it’s empty: The world thinks Dubai is a war zone. 438 ballistic missiles. 2,000+ drones. Headlines did the rest. Trips cancelled. Tourists went elsewhere. What they don’t know - the city never stopped. Not one day. While everyone was watching the news - residents were getting 70% off five-star hotels and empty beach clubs on a Friday. The people who stayed are locking in deals this city hasn’t seen in years. Every crisis creates a window. Most people watch it close from the outside. 🇦🇪 @Rus_Khairullin

Persistent rumors of a UAE-Pakistan rift, as Pakistan is told to repay a $3.5 billion debt. The two countries are said to now be arguing over Iran. Islamabad apparently taking a softer stance, and the UAE looking for a forceful military response to Tehran's attacks on it.

Unless they produced more missiles than we thought. Or unless they’re being resupplied by China. Or unless they can make do with their arsenal of tens of thousands of Shahed drones. Or unless the US fiscal and diplomatic positions collapse meanwhile from supply chain disruption. They have plenty to work with, and if they survive, it’s good enough for them. And if they end up running a tollbooth, even better - in fact, they get to replace their dying fiscal model based on raw crude exportation with an extortion racket. And that’s looking like what’s going to happen.
Mike@Doranimated

Let’s play a game. Let’s apply the question that the MSM habitually poses to Trump to the IRGC. What’s your exit strategy? How do you come out of this war in better shape than when you started? There is no way. How are you going to rebuild all that you lost? You have one card, missiles and drones. It’s a major card, to be sure. But it is a diminishing asset. The longer the war goes on, the less value it has.
