Sad news to hear of the passing of The Roots co-founder, Malik Abdul Baset - more widely known as Malik B. A super gifted MC, the way he and Black Thought used to trade bars was something special to hear, solidifying The Roots’ arrival and Philly’s global status. Rest peacefully.
