This is a problem within non-japanese animation in general which stems from focusing on writing rather than on good drawings. The reason for this is how these people thinks this type of millenial dialogue is far superior to the latter as they try to imitate movies and/or simpsons

We need to teach the Japanese the tried and true method of not apologizing and doubling down when people are yelling at you on here if they are going to survive the ENG/JP merger. Everyone forgets what they were mad at you for within 1.5 days if you don't show weakness.
