I have never been spammed more than I have by @shawacademy !!!! Over 50 emails in a month, sometimes more than once a day! And I’m not even signed up for a course. Great org but no thanks stop harassing people.

@shaw_support I enrolled in the shaw acadamy program for photoshop and it was a free trial for like 30 days when there was a black friday special and during that 30 days i was charged a R400 even though i didnt agree to them taking money off my account , and some how I had a premium membership

And as an aside thIs is why I will never take @shawacademy up on their massive lifetime discounts. In their TOS, if you don’t use their service for a while they will close your account and you will lose that lifetime discount. Absolutely ridiculous.

The most ridiculous thing about this is, I have an account on a Torrent site from 15 years ago, basically unused for years and yet that account is still active and enabled. If they can do it, why can @Ubisoft do it?

@le_debut @RobyneHude @shawacademy same thing happened to me early this year. They charged me about 50 euros even after I had canceled multiple times. Contacted them and they said they can’t revert the amount. So they offered me a 2 year access.

do NOT -- I repeat do NOT sign up for any classes with @shawacademy online. I signed up for what people on here promoted as a free Python course. I do all the sign ups and when I get to the portal no python course to be found. issue 1
