Having good people in your team is very important During my time at Microsoft My mentor invited me at her place for a movie night on our first weekend there😭 This one time an Sde-2 in our team ordered playing cards from blinkit at the office😭. Another time after a team dinner , my manager dropped some of us at our places😭. Once my mentor left her bag at the office and we went to collect it at 1 am😭. And i am still connected to my mentor. I have a friend at amazon , the only time their team talks to each other is at the DSM. His manager keeps blaming ppl for missed ETAs. It might not be a big deal for many of you, but today in the toxic work culture- finding nice people are very rare. Im not sure how my future teams will be like. So please be grateful if you have even a single person in your team you talk to outside of work.
