If you're interviewing someone online and you *think* you hear something that is a red flag then it is in your interests to check you've heard that correctly. Also conducting an interview with a bad internet connection in the first place is unfair to your interviewee

@FaizaYousuf I don't because trying to do that makes it impossible to listen to them. I *hope* they know I am fidgeting with my hand in order to listen and understand better.

My neurodiverse folks here, How do you stop fidgeting or doing something else when listening to someone? For instance, sitting still, making eye contact, & looking focused are hard things to do for me. I am listening, understanding, & empathizing, but it may seem that I am not.

My doctor is a bit worried that I am not improving and my infection numbers are high, so today she sent me to the hospital to be checked for blood cloths in the lungs - which I don’t have. She made me nervous. I still lose breath, get high pulse and slight chest pains…
