Former Prime Minister Imran Khan's conversation with lawyers in Adiala Jail - May 22, 2025 The baseless trials related to the events of May 9th (2023) have resumed once again. May 9th was a false flag operation. No CCTV footage has been presented to this day, and the past two years have made it abundantly clear that its sole objective was to crush PTI. The truth will be evident to all if the CCTV footage of that day is made public. Seats were stolen from our candidates in Peshawar through the manipulation of Form-47, just like in other parts of the country. Legally, election petitions must be decided within 180 days. Yet, despite the passage of 15 months — and repeated changes in laws and judges — hearings have not even begun. Those whose mandate was stolen in Peshawar must immediately file petitions in the High Court, together with the provincial cabinet, and should protest before the Election Commission. Furthermore, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly must pass a resolution on this matter. As party chairman, it is necessary for the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to seek my guidance on budgetary and policy matters. The people have elected PTI to govern, and therefore, the responsibility for policymaking also rests with us. Consequently, it is essential that Ali Amin Gandapur and the finance minister meet with me before the budget is presented. No one has approached me for any negotiations. News claiming otherwise is entirely false. National unity is of utmost importance at this time for three key reasons: Narendra Modi, having faced embarrassment in the recent Indo-Pak tensions, is likely to retaliate to salvage his pride. Innocent lives are being lost daily to terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. The economy is in shambles; investors and the youth are steadily leaving the country. It is for these reasons that I have called for dialogue. But talks will only be held with those who actually hold power, and only in the national interest. I do not fear hardship — my resolve remains strong. Engaging in any talks with the puppet PML-N government is pointless. This illegitimate Form-47 installed government has already wasted two months. Its only objective is to cling to false authority. It holds no real power. This is the very regime that has utterly destroyed Pakistan’s moral values and constitutional structure. Democracy is founded on two core principles: rule of law and moral integrity. The baseless political cases against me and other PTI members, forced abductions, and coerced press conferences designed to make members publicly disassociate from the party — all prove that rule of law has been entirely dismantled. What we now have is the law of the jungle. The decline of integrity is equally alarming. The Chief Election Commissioner and other members of the Election Commission continue to hold office even after the terms have ended. The formation of a controversial constitutional bench, its conduct and handling of cases further reflect the erosion of ethical standards. Democracy cannot flourish in the absence of law and morality. This is a recipe for societal collapse, and it should serve as a wake-up call for all of us. I am being subjected to all forms of hardships. I am not allowed to speak to my children. Meetings with my family are arbitrarily delayed for days. Even my personal physician is not permitted to see me. Despite this, I will continue to stand firm for the sake of my nation.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Message from Adiala Jail - March 25, 2025 Pakistan's challenges can only be resolved through genuinely elected public representatives. Instead of repeating the mistakes of 1971 that divided the nation, work towards uniting it! How can an illegitimate government imposed on Balochistan possibly resolve any issues? As a Pakistani and a former Prime Minister, I am deeply concerned about the ongoing situation in Balochistan marked by sharp rise in terrorism. The firing of live ammunition on peaceful protesters, state violence and unlawful arrests are equally deeply troubling. It is the fundamental duty of the state to address the grievances of the people of Balochistan. The situation in Balochistan cannot improve unless the genuine public representatives are brought into mainstream, their voices are sincerely heard, and the fate of the region is decided in accordance with the will of the people. Sheer force can never resolve this issue. It would rather deepen crisis and fuel further instability. The puppet government imposed through fraudulent elections (Form 47), has failed on all fronts, with its foreign policy being complete disaster. We can address terrorism by engaging in dialogue with Afghanistan. We share a 2,200-kilometer border with Afghanistan, and peaceful negotiations are the only way forward. During our tenure, despite strained relations with the Afghan government at the time, we engaged in direct talks with them. The policies we implemented over three years successfully eliminated terrorism. However, after our tenure, the adoption of Biden's policy led to numerous issues, and today, the public is bearing the consequences in the form of increased terrorism. The current government's lack of seriousness is evident from the fact that neither during the PDM regime nor under the present administration has the Foreign Minister visited Afghanistan or undertaken any serious diplomatic initiatives. The 26th Constitutional Amendment has led to the complete deterioration of our judicial system. My pre-arrest bail hearing in the fabricated May 9th (2023) cases was scheduled after months of delay, but the Lahore High Court bench was dissolved to further delay the process. Similarly, the Toshakhana case where my trial is being conducted within the jail premises has been arbitrarily halted without explanation. Previously, the verdict in the Al-Qadir Trust case was deliberately delayed so that my case could be presented before handpicked judges in the Islamabad High Court following court packing. After extensive legal efforts, when my appeal was finally scheduled for hearing, objections were raised, further, delaying the matter until after Eid. This clearly proves that the imposed government's primary goal is to keep me in jail at all costs, as my cases have no legal standing and will be overruled whenever they are heard on merits. This is a fixed match being played under a well-orchestrated plan. Instead of focusing on their constitutional responsibilities, the institutions are hyper fixated on cracking down on PTI and controlling the media, prisons, and courts. Adiala Jail is also being run by a Colonel. What authority does a Colonel have to control a jail? This week, my sisters were also denied a meeting with me. Despite multiple court orders, I am barred from meeting friends, speaking to my children on the phone, or accessing my diary and books. In six months, I had just one meeting with my political colleagues, scheduled entirely at the discretion of jail authorities. They continue to impose one restriction after another. No matter how hard they try, I have never bowed to their fascism, and I never will!

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Conversation with his Lawyers and Family Members in Adiala Jail - March 19, 2025 "The scourge of terrorism in the country is out of control. The tragic incident of the Jafar Express is deeply saddening and condemnable. Such organized terrorist attacks raise serious questions about any country’s security. No one can feel the pain of losing precious military and civilian lives to terrorism as profoundly as we do, because PTI is the only political party with majority support across all provinces. Unfortunately, all agencies are focused on eliminating PTI instead of preventing terrorism. PTI’s decision to boycott the National Security Committee meeting is absolutely justified. I was neither invited to the meeting nor was my opinion sought, and even the representatives of Balochistan were excluded. They would have first consulted with members of my party if they genuinely intended to address this issue. PTI is currently the only political party in Pakistan with support across all federal units, whereas PPP and PML-N are confined to specific regions of Sindh and Punjab. How can national consensus be achieved while excluding the leader of the country’s largest political party and the true symbol of the federation? The subservient [to the military establishment] government’s foreign and domestic policies are proving to be disastrous for the country. The issue of terrorism can only be resolved through a political solution that aligns with the people’s will. Terrorism cannot be eradicated solely through kinetic military operations. Our foreign policy regarding neighboring countries must be independent and sovereign. Issues with Afghanistan should also be resolved through dialogue. Since the regime change, their lack of seriousness is evident from the fact that Bilawal toured the entire world but did not visit Afghanistan even once. Military operations have never been the solution— even major wars have ultimately ended through negotiations and sincere efforts for peace and stability. The country can only remain united and strong if the public mandate is respected, political parties are allowed to function freely, and the establishment refrains from interfering in politics. In 1971, a political party was sidelined, and history has not forgotten what followed. The country would not have been divided back then had fair opportunities been given to political parties. Today, once again, the people’s voices are being suppressed, and political parties representing them are being strangled. The same oppressive model has been imposed in Balochistan, which is why the situation there has spiraled out of control. Until representative governments of the people are given power, these issues will persist and worsen. The imposed regime is using all unlawful tactics to pressure me. My wife has been unjustly imprisoned. Yahya Khan did not jail Mujibur Rahman’s wife, neither did General Zia imprison Bhutto’s wife, nor did Musharraf incarcerate Kulsoom Nawaz. But this establishment has reached the lowest level of moral decline by imprisoning my wife in fabricated cases. My communication has been severely restricted for nearly a week. To keep me uninformed about current affairs, television access has been banned, and newspapers and books are not being delivered. I have been denied contact with my children. Despite repeated reminders, the standard provision of a 72-hour meeting within 90 days with my wife has not been granted. My personal doctor is not allowed to meet me, nor is my dentist. My party leaders have also been barred from visiting me. I have been kept in complete isolation to prevent me from learning about the All Parties Conference (APC). 1/2

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Conversation with Lawyers and Media: 15 February 2025 "After the holy month of Ramadan, we will formulate a strategy in collaboration with all opposition parties and launch a nationwide protest movement. To this end, I have directed my negotiation committee to expedite communications. We will invite individuals from all sectors of Pakistan — including lawyers, farmers, laborers, scholars, and students — to participate in this protest and take to the streets to reclaim their rights. This protest will be for the restoration of democracy and the Constitution, and for our genuine freedom and sovereignty. It is the duty of any judge to refrain from passing judgments or making remarks until both sides have been heard, as judicial comments and rulings influence not only the immediate cases but also future ones. Judicial ethics demand that a judge should exercise restraint when making remarks during hearings. Justice Musarrat Hilali should have considered both perspectives before making unilateral comments on the May 9th (2023) incident. No independent commission has been formed, nor have judicial inquiries been conducted regarding this incident. The police and intelligence agencies have not presented any evidence in court to support the cases they have registered concerning May 9th. Even CCTV footage of the incident is missing. The Supreme Court has already declared my arrest from the Islamabad High Court illegal. We were the victims of oppression on May 9th. Our workers were martyred, yet we were held responsible and persecuted. The mothers and sisters of our nation were dragged through the streets that day in an absolutely disgraceful manner. The events of May 9th were a premeditated and an orchestrated false-flag operation, and no rational individual should have any doubt about this. On that day, I was unlawfully and disrespectfully taken into custody by paramilitary Rangers from within the premises of the Islamabad High Court without a warrant, as part of a pre-planned scheme to provoke public outrage. Then, infiltrators were planted within our peaceful protests to turn them into a false-flag operation. Even before May 9th, lists of 10,000 of our workers had already been prepared, and within days, they were arrested. Under the pretense of May 9th, immense oppression and fascism were unleashed upon the people of Pakistan. Our people were martyred and injured, thousands were illegally detained in raids, forcibly disappeared, and handed over into military custody where they were subjected to torture. Many of our leaders and workers remain wrongfully incarcerated to this day. The real objective of May 9th was to crush Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and this campaign continues. Under the guise of a fabricated narrative about May 9th, people’s fundamental rights have been stripped away, depriving them of their right to live. In our country's history, only during the fall of Dhaka had a political party been treated in such a manner, where even the dignity and innocence of women and children was violated. Despite our repeated demands, no judicial commission has been formed to investigate the events of May 9th and November 26th (2024). The truth would have been revealed to the public if such a commission had been established. The purpose of a judicial commission is to conduct transparent investigations into disputed matters and determine the real culprits, based on facts. We also demanded the retrieval of CCTV footage related to the May 9th incidents. We have approached every court regarding human rights violations. A bench of the Lahore High Court, headed by Justice Baqar Najafi, heard our petition, but its decision has been ‘reserved’ for over a year and a half. From Aamer Farooq to Qazi Faez Isa and now Yahya Afridi and the constitutional bench, no one heard our human rights petitions. 1/2

Despite this era of blatant fascism, people continue to respond to my call, breaking the shackles of fear, proving that the nation is now determined to attain genuine sovereignty at any cost. The fraudulent, subservient government is fearful. Raids were conducted across the country, and individuals were subjected to violence. Under the pretext of cricket, we were denied permission to hold a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan, which clearly indicates the panic and desperation of this worthless government. My letter to the Army Chief was written with the sincere intentions for the betterment of the country. This is my nation, and I am deeply concerned about its future. I would like to address the DG ISPR and state that the reputation of the military is being completely ruined. While you claim to be uninvolved in politics, every citizen is aware that the country's affairs are being controlled by the Army Chief. Individuals like Mohsin Naqvi, who have never even contested a councilor’s election, have been imposed upon the nation, wielding authority over everything from cricket to internal and external affairs. Repression and fascism are rampant in the country. The 26th Constitutional Amendment has effectively dismantled the Supreme Court’s independence. Justice Qazi Faez Isa was the most biased and shameless Chief Justice in history, surpassing even Justice Munir in his misdeeds. During his tenure, democracy was trampled upon and human rights were grossly violated, yet instead of taking action against this injustice, he facilitated every illegal move. Rule of law and human rights have been severely compromised. Sham elections were carried out and the people were deprived of their mandate. The Chief Election Commissioner and Qazi Faez Isa served as facilitators of the establishment, and in the process, betrayed their offices and the nation. As a result, a forged parliament, a fraudulent prime minister, and a phony president have been installed. What Qazi Faez Isa was being used for is now being done by the Constitutional Bench. The country has been reduced to a banana republic. Judges are supposed to hear both sides of an argument, but, one-sided decisions are being handed down here. I would like to send a special message to Justice Yahya Afridi: Given the state of law and human rights in the country, you should take a stand against this injustice and become an honorable part of history, rather than playing a disgraceful role like Qazi Faez Isa. Voices of media and social media have been silenced through the draconian amendments to the PECA law. State of the internet in the country is evident to all. The economy has suffered a loss of $1.7 billion. The country is experiencing a rapid brain drain, with 1.7 million people having moved abroad. Economic devastation and unemployment have left the entire nation distressed. We demanded commissions be formed to investigate May 9th (2023) and November 26th (2024) because we knew that negotiations were a mere facade. Forming a commission on the events of February 8th (2024) was way out of their league. Had their intentions been sincere, they would have established commissions on May 9th and November 26th to uncover the truth, as these were matters related to human rights violations that required immediate action. However, nothing was done. The establishment murdered unarmed civilians on November 26th when they ordered opening fire on them. 1/2

Second Open Letter to the Chief of Army Staff by Former Prime Minister Imran Khan - February 8, 2025 “I wrote an open letter to the Chief of Army Staff (you) with sincerity and in the best interest of the nation, aiming to bridge the widening gulf between the military and the people. However, the response to my letter was highly dismissive and irresponsible. I am the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and the leader of the country’s largest and most popular political party. I have spent my entire life elevating the name of Pakistan on the global stage. 55 years of my public life since 1970 and what I earned in the last 30 years is all transparent for everyone to see. My life and death are inextricably linked to Pakistan. My concern is for the perception of our army and the serious consequences of the growing divide between the people and their armed forces, which is what prompted me to write the letter. I highlighted six key points in my letter, and if public opinion is sought, 90% of the people would agree with them. The manipulation of election results through pre-poll rigging orchestrated by intelligence agencies, the forced passage of the 26th Constitutional Amendment in Parliament at gunpoint to take control of the judiciary and appoint handpicked judges, the imposition of draconian legislation like the amendments to PECA laws to silence dissent, the economic devastation caused by political instability and the rule of force, the persistent targeting of the largest political party through state terrorism, and the engagement of state institutions in political engineering and victimization instead of fulfilling their constitutional duties, are all deepening the rift between the people and the military. The army is a vital institution of the country, but a few black sheep within it are causing severe damage to its reputation. One such individual, a colonel stationed at Adiala Jail, is blatantly violating the constitution, the law, and prison regulations while trampling on human rights. He disregards court orders with impunity and behaves like an 'occupying force'. The former, conscientious, Superintendent of Adiala Jail, Akram, was abducted and tortured for upholding the law and ensuring adherence to prison rules. Now, the entire prison staff is being intimidated. Under the orders of this colonel, in blatant violation of fundamental rights, the prison administration has subjected me to relentless persecution to exert pressure on me. I was placed in solitary confinement in a death-row cell for 20 days, where even the light of the sun could not reach. Electricity to my cell was cut off for five consecutive days, leaving me in total darkness. My exercise equipment, television, and even access to newspapers was taken away. Even outside those 20 days, books are arbitrarily withheld, or I am placed in lockdown again for 40 hours at a time. In defiance of court orders, I have only been allowed to speak to my sons three times in the last six months, depriving me of my fundamental and legal rights. My party members travel long distances to visit me, yet they are denied access despite court directives. In the past six months, only a handful of individuals have been allowed to meet me. Despite clear orders from the Islamabad High Court, I am not permitted to meet my wife, who is also in solitary confinement. The forced passage of the 26th Constitutional Amendment was aimed at controlling the judiciary, recruiting handpicked judges, and suppressing election fraud and human rights violations. My legal cases are being decided under extreme pressure. I have been sentenced in four cases through unlawful convictions. The pressure on judges is so intense that one judge’s blood pressure spiked five times, requiring hospitalization in the prison hospital. That judge confided in my lawyer that immense pressure was exerted from the "top" to convict me and my wife. 1/2

سابق وزیراعظم عمران خان کی جانب سے چیف آف آرمی سٹاف کو دوسرا کھلا خط: ”میں نے ملک و قوم کی بہتری کی خاطر نیک نیتی سے آرمی چیف (آپ) کے نام کھلا خط لکھا، تاکہ فوج اور عوام کے درمیان دن بدن بڑھتی ہوئی خلیج کو کم کیا جا سکے مگر اس کا جواب انتہائی غیر سنجیدگی اور غیر ذمہ داری سے دیا گیا۔ میں پاکستان کا سابق وزیراعظم اور ملک کی سب سے مقبول اور بڑی سیاسی جماعت کا سربراہ ہوں- میں نے اپنی ساری زندگی عالمی سطح پر ملک و قوم کا نام روشن کرنے میں گزاری ہے۔ 1970 سے اب تک میری 55 سال کی پبلک لائف اور 30 سال کی کمائی سب کے سامنے ہے- میرا جینا مرنا صرف اور صرف پاکستان میں ہے۔ مجھے صرف اور صرف اپنی فوج کے تاثر اور عوام اور فوج کے درمیان بڑھتی خلیج کے ممکنہ مضمرات کی فکر ہے، جس کی وجہ سے میں نے یہ خط لکھا۔ میں نے جن 6 نکات کی نشاندہی کی ہے ان پر اگر عوامی رائے لی جائے تو 90 فیصد عوام ان نکات کی حمایت کرے گی- ایجینسیز کے ذریعے پری پول دھاندلی اور الیکشن کے نتائج تبدیل کر کے اردلی حکومت قائم کرنا، عدلیہ پر قبضے کے لیے پارلیمینٹ سے گن پوائنٹ پرچھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کروانا اور پاکٹ ججز بھرتی کرنا، ظلم و جبر کے خلاف اٹھنے والی آوازوں کو بند کرنے کے لیے پیکا جیسے کالے قانون کا اطلاق کرنا، سیاسی عدم استحکام اور “جس کی لاٹھی اس کی بھینس” کی ریت ڈال کر ملک کی معیشت کی تباہی، ملک کی سب سے بڑی سیاسی جماعت کو مسلسل ریاستی دہشتگردی کا نشانہ بنانا اور تمام ریاستی اداروں کا اپنے فرائض چھوڑ کر سیاسی انجینئیرنگ اور سیاسی انتقام میں شامل کرنا ناصرف عوامی جذبات کو مجروح کر رہا ہے بلکہ عوام اور فوج میں خلیج کو بھی مسلسل بڑھا رہا ہے- فوج ملک کا ایک اہم ادارہ ہے مگر اس میں بیٹھی چند کالی بھیڑیں پورے ادارے کا نقصان کر رہی ہیں۔ ایسا ہی ایک شخص اڈیالہ جیل میں بیٹھا کرنل بھی ہے جو جیل کے سٹاف کو کنٹرول کرتے ہوئے ناصرف آئین، قانون اور جیل مینول کی دھجیاں بکھیر رہا ہے بلکہ انسانی حقوق بھی پامال کر رہا ہے۔ وہ عدالتی احکامات کو جوتے کی نوک پر رکھتے ہوئے ایسے عمل کرتا ہے جیسے “قابض فوج” کرتی ہے۔ پہلے اڈیالہ جیل کے فرض شناس سپرنٹنڈنٹ اکرم کو اغواء کیا گیا اور تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا گیا کیونکہ وہ قانون کی پاسداری کرتا تھا اور جیل قوانین پر عمل درآمد کرتا تھا، اب بھی تمام عملے کو ڈرایا دھمکایا جا رہا ہے۔ بنیادی انسانی حقوق پامال کرتے ہوئے مجھ پر دباؤ بڑھانے کے لیے ایک کرنل کی ماتحت جیل انتظامیہ نے مجھ پر ہر ظلم کیا ہے۔ مجھے موت کی چکی میں رکھا گیا ہے۔20 دن تک مکمل لاک اپ میں رکھا گیا جہاں سورج کی روشنی تک نہیں پہنچتی تھی۔ پانچ روز تک میرے سیل کی بجلی بند رکھی گئی اور میں مکمل اندھیرے میں رہا۔ میرا ورزش کرنے والا سامان اور ٹی وی تک لے لیا گیا اور مجھ تک اخبار بھی پہنچنے نہیں دیا گیا۔جب چاہتے ہیں کتابیں تک روک لیتے ہیں۔ ان 20 دنوں کے علاوہ مجھے دوبارہ بھی 40 گھنٹے لاک اپ میں رکھا گیا۔ میرے بیٹوں سے پچھلے چھ ماہ میں صرف تین مرتبہ میری بات کروائی گئی ہے۔ اس معاملے میں بھی عدالت کا حکم نہ مانتے ہوئے مجھے بچوں سے بات کرنے نہیں دی جاتی جو میرا بنیادی اور قانونی حق ہے۔ میری جماعت کے افراد دور دراز علاقوں سے مجھ سے ملاقات کے لیے آتے ہیں مگر ان کو بھی عدالتی آرڈز کے باوجود ملاقات کی اجازت نہیں ملتی۔ پچھلے چھ ماہ میں گنتی کے چند افراد کو ہی مجھ سے ملوایا گیا ہے۔ اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ کے واضح احکامات کے باوجود میری اہلیہ سے میری ملاقات نہیں کروائی جاتی۔میری اہلیہ کو بھی قید تنہائی میں رکھا گیا ہے۔ گن پوائنٹ پر کروائی گئی چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کے ذریعے عدالتی نظام پر قبضے اور کورٹ پیکنگ کا مقصد انسانی حقوق کی پامالیوں اور انتخابی فراڈ کی پردہ پوشی اور میرے خلاف مقدمات میں من پسند فیصلوں کے لیے “پاکٹ ججز” بھرتی کرنا ہے تا کہ عدلیہ میں کوئی شفاف فیصلے دینے والا نہ ہو۔ میرے سارے کیسز کے فیصلے دباؤ کے ذریعے دلوائے جا رہے ہیں۔ مجھےغیر قانونی طور پر 4 سزائیں دلوائی گئی ہیں۔ میرے خلاف فیصلہ دینے کے لیے جج صاحبان پر اتنا دباؤ ہوتا ہے کہ ایک جج کا بلڈ پریشر 5 مرتبہ ہائی ہوا اور اسے جیل اسپتال میں داخل کروانا پڑا۔ اس جج نے میرے وکیل کو بتایا کہ مجھے اور میری اہلیہ کو سزا دینے کے لیے "اوپر" سے شدید ترین دباؤ ہے۔ 1/2

سابق وزیراعظم عمران خان کی اڈیالہ جیل میں وکلاء اور میڈیا سے گفتگو: “پاکستان اس وقت ٹاوٹس کے قبضے میں ہے۔ ایک ایسا ٹاوٹ سکندر سلطان راجہ بھی تھا جو 2024 الیکشن چوری کا سرغنہ ہے اور اس پر آرٹیکل چھ کے تحت کارروائی ہونی چاہیے تاکہ دوبارہ کوئی ایسی حرکت نہ کرے۔ محسن نقوی کے پاس ایسی کون سی گیڈر سنگھی ہے جو اس پر عہدوں کی بارش کی گئی ہے۔ اشاروں پر ناچنے والا ایک عقل سے عاری شخص کرکٹ سے لے کر خارجہ اور داخلہ امور سمیت سیکورٹی معاملات کا ماہر کیسے ہو سکتا ہے؟ پاکستانی قوم اپنے مینڈیٹ پر ڈالے گئے تاریخی ڈاکے کے خلاف 8 فروری کو پورے ملک میں نکلے اور اپنا احتجاج ریکارڈ کروائے- صرف 17 نشستیں جیتنے والی پارٹی کو اقتدار دے کر “اردلی حکومت” ملک پر مسلط کر دی گئی جو پاکستان کے ہر ادارے کو تباہ کر رہی ہے- میں عدلیہ کی آزادی کے لیے دی گئی 10 فروری کی پاکستان بھر کی بار ایسوسی ایشنز اور وکلاء کی کال کی بھی حمایت کرتا ہوں۔ ملک میں قانون کی حکمرانی کے بغیر کسی قسم کا استحکام ممکن نہیں ہے اور قانون کی حکمرانی آزاد عدلیہ کے بغیر ممکن نہیں ہو سکتی۔ جس طرح چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کے ذریعے عدلیہ کو کنٹرول کرنے کی غرض سے ملک میں آئین اور قانون کی دھجیاں اڑائی گئی ہیں اس کے خلاف پاکستانی عوام میں شدید نفرت پائی جا رہی ہے۔ جو حالات ہیں اس سے یہ تاثر ملتا ہے کہ موجودہ نظام جمہوریت کے خلاف باقاعدہ برسر پیکار ہے، اور روز ایک ایسا نیا اقدام اٹھایا جاتا ہے جو جمہوریت کی روح کے عین منافی ہو۔ روایتی میڈیا تو پہلے ہی بوٹوں کے نیچے ہے۔ اب پیکا کا کالا قانون منظور کر کے عوام کے حق رائے دہی کا واحد ذریعہ یعنی سوشل میڈیا پر بھی مارشل لاء لگا دیا گیا ہے۔ یہ زبان بندی کی قبیح ترین کوشش ہے اور پاکستان کو بین الاقوامی پابندیوں سے قریب تر کرنے میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گی۔ پیکا کا قانون اگر لاگو کرنا ہی ہے تو سب سے پہلے شہباز شریف پر لاگو کیا جائے جنہوں نے ملکی تاریخ کے سب سے دھاندلی زدہ انتخابات کو فری اینڈ فئیر قرار دیا ہے۔ انہوں نے 26 نومبر کے قتل عام کو بھی جھٹلایا اور یہ کہا کہ کوئی گولی نہیں چلی نہ ہی کوئی شہادت ہوئی لہذا پیکا قانون کے تحت سب سے پہلی سزا شہباز شریف کو ملنی چاہیئے۔ بددیانت لوگ کبھی نیوٹرل امپائرز نہیں چاہتے۔ رجیم کیونکہ خود 26 نومبر اور نو مئی کے واقعات میں ملوث ہے اس لیے ان سے شفاف جوڈیشل کمیشن کی توقع نہیں رکھی جا سکتی۔ ہم جوڈیشل کمیشن کا قیام صرف اس لیے چاہتے ہیں کیونکہ ہم انصاف کے متلاشی ہیں۔ جو مجرم ہیں وہ نہیں چاہتے کہ حقیقت سامنے آئے۔ اٹھارویں ترمیم کے تحت کسی بھی صوبے کے آئی جی اور چیف سیکرٹری کی تقرری صوبائی حکومت کی صوابدید ہے۔ ایک مرتبہ پھر آئین کی دھجیاں بکھیرتے ہوئے صوبائی حکومت کے دئیے گئے تین ناموں کو اپنے “پاکٹ لاز” کے ذریعے ردی کی ٹوکری میں پھینک کر خیبر پختونخوا میں وفاق کی مرضی کا آئی جی انسٹال کر دیا گیا۔ میں علی امین کو خصوصی ہدایت کر رہا ہوں کہ صوبے کی عوام کے حقوق کا تحفظ آپ کی ذمہ داری ہے۔ ملک کے باقی تینوں صوبوں میں پہلے ہی ہمارے کارکنان کے خلاف ظلم و بربریت کا بازار گرم ہے اگر خیبرپختونخوا میں بھی ہمارے کارکنان کو یہ سب برداشت کرنا پڑا تو اس کی ذمہ داری صوبائی حکومت اور وزیراعلیٰ پر ہو گی۔ ہمارے کسی ورکر کے خلاف کوئی زیادتی ہوئی تو فوری ایکشن لے کر آئی جی کو فارغ کرنا ہے۔”

سابق وزیراعظم عمران خان کی جانب سے چیف آف آرمی سٹاف کو کھلا خط۔۔ “فوج بھی میری ہے اور ملک بھی میرا ہے!! ہمارے فوجی پاکستان کے لیے قربانیاں دے رہے ہیں۔ دہشتگردی کے خلاف جنگ میں کامیابی کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ قوم فوج کے پیچھے کھڑی ہو لیکن افسوسناک امر ہے کہ اسٹیبلشمنٹ کی پالیسیوں کی وجہ سے فوج اور عوام میں خلیج دن بدن بڑھتی جا رہی ہے۔ اس کی کچھ بنیادی وجوہات ہیں جن کو مد نظر رکھتے ہوئے اسٹیبلشمنٹ کو اپنی پالیسیوں پر نظرثانی کرنے کی ضرورت ہے تا کہ عوام اور فوج کے درمیان بڑھتے ہوئے فاصلے اور فوج کی بدنامی کو کم کیا جا سکے۔ سب سے بڑی وجہ 2024 کے انتخابات میں تاریخی دھاندلی اور عوامی مینڈیٹ کی سر عام چوری ہے جس نے عوام کے غصے کو ابھارا ہے۔ جس انداز میں ایجنسیاں پری پول دھاندلی اور نتائج کنٹرول کرنے کے لیے سیاسی انجینئرنگ میں ملوث رہیں اس نے قوم کے اعتماد کو شدید ٹھیس پہنچائی ہے۔ صرف 17 نشستیں جیتنے والی پارٹی کو اقتدار دے کر “اردلی حکومت” ملک پر مسلط کر دی گئی- دوسری وجہ چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم ہے۔ جس طرح چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کے ذریعے عدلیہ کو کنٹرول کرنے کی غرض سے ملک میں آئین اور قانون کی دھجیاں اڑائی گئی ہیں اس کے خلاف پاکستانی عوام میں شدید نفرت پائی جا رہی ہے۔ میرے مقدمات "پاکٹ ججز" کے پاس لگانے کے لیے ناصر جاوید رانا نے فیصلے کو ملتوی کیا۔ عدالتوں میں جاری "کورٹ پیکنگ" کا مقصد یہی ہے کہ عمران خان کے خلاف مقدمات من پسند ججز کے پاس لگا کر اپنی مرضی کے فیصلے لیے جا سکیں۔ اس سب کا مقصد میرے خلاف مقدمات میں من پسند فیصلے، انسانی حقوق کی پامالی اور انتخابی فراڈ کی پردہ پوشی ہے تا کہ عدلیہ میں کوئی شفاف فیصلے دینے والا نہ ہو۔ تیسری وجہ "پیکا" جیسا کالا قانون ہے۔ الیکٹرانک میڈیا پر پہلے ہی قبضہ کیا جا چکا ہے، اب پیکا کی صورت میں سوشل میڈیا اور انٹرنیٹ پر بھی قدغن لگا دی گئی ہے۔ اس سب کی وجہ سے پاکستان کا جی ایس پی پلس سٹیٹس بھی خطرے میں ہے۔ انٹرنیٹ میں خلل کی وجہ سے ہماری آئی ٹی انڈسٹری کو 1.72 بلین ڈالر سے زائد کا نقصان ہو چکا ہے اور نوجوانوں کا کیرئیر تباہ ہو رہا ہے۔ چوتھی اہم وجہ ملک کی سب سے بڑی اور مقبول جماعت پر ریاستی دہشتگردی کا سلسلہ مسلسل جاری ہے۔ ہمارے لیڈران اور کارکنان کی چادر چار دیواری کا تقدس پامال کرتے ہوئے ایک لاکھ سے زائد چھاپے مارے گئے، 20 ہزار سے زائد ورکرز اور سپورٹرز کی گرفتاریاں کی گئیں، انہیں اغوا کیا گیا، لوگوں کے خاندانوں کو ہراساں کیا گیا اور تحریک انصاف کو کچلنے کی غرض سے مسلسل انسانی حقوق کی پامالی کی جا رہی ہے جس نے عوامی جذبات کو مجروح کیا ہے۔ پانچویں بڑی وجہ ملک میں سیاسی عدم استحکام کی بدولت معیشت کا برا حال ہے جس نے عوام کو مجبور کر دیا ہے اور وہ پاکستان چھوڑ کر اپنے سرمائے سمیت تیزی سے بیرون ملک منتقل ہو رہے ہیں۔ معاشی عدم استحکام اپنی انتہا پر ہے۔ گروتھ ریٹ صفر ہے اور پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری نہ ہونے کے برابر ہے۔ کسی بھی ملک میں قانون کی حکمرانی اور عدل کے بغیر سرمایہ کاری ممکن نہیں ہوتی۔ جہاں دہشتگردی کا خوف ہو وہاں کوئی سرمایہ کاری کرنے کو تیار نہیں ہوتا۔ سرمایہ کاری صرف تب آتی ہے جب ملک میں عوامی امنگوں کی ترجمان حکومت قائم ہو اس کے علاوہ سب کلیے بے کار ہیں۔ چھٹی بڑی وجہ تمام اداروں کا اپنے فرائض چھوڑ کر سیاسی انتقام کی غرض سے تحریک انصاف کو کچلنے کا کام کرنا ہے۔ میجر، کرنل سطح کے افراد کی جانب سے عدالتی احکامات کی دھجیاں بکھیرنے کا سلسلہ جاری ہے۔ عدلیہ کے فیصلوں کو جوتے کی نوک پر رکھا جا رہا ہے، جس کی وجہ سے پوری فوج پر نزلہ گر رہا ہے۔ پرسوں اے ٹی سی کے جج نے عدالت میں میری اہلیہ کو شامل تفتیش ہونے کا حکم دیا اس کے باوجود کے وہ آنا چاہتی تھیں کسی نادیدہ قوت نے اس کو سبوتاژ کیا۔ بحیثیت سابق وزیراعظم میرا کام اس قوم کی بہتری کے لیے ان مسائل کی نشاندہی ہے جس کی وجہ سے فوج مسلسل بدنامی کا شکار ہو رہی ہے۔ میری پالیسی پہلے دن سے ایک ہی ہے یعنی فوج بھی میری اور ملک بھی میرا۔ ملکی استحکام اور سلامتی کے لیے ناگزیر ہے کہ فوج اور عوام کے درمیان کی خلیج کم ہو، اور اس بڑھتی خلیج کو کم کرنے کی صرف ایک ہی صورت ہے، اور وہ ہے فوج کا اپنی آئینی حدود میں واپس جانا، سیاست سے خود کو علیحدہ کرنا اور اپنی معین کردہ ذمہ داریاں پوری کرنا، اور یہ کام فوج کو خود کرنا ہو گا ورنہ یہی بڑھتی خلیج قومی سلامتی کی اصلاح میں فالٹ لائنز بن جائیں گی۔”

*Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s conversation with his lawyers and representatives of media at Adiala Jail - January 20, 2025* “The “orderly” [subservient to the Military Establishment] government is gripped by fear and plagued by constant nightmares. Their first nightmare, which has totally unnerved them, is the fear of Imran Khan’s release. The second nightmare is the fear of the truth about Forms 47 [election fraud] being exposed. Waking up frightened by these nightmares, they start chanting about May 9th (2023) False Flag. Out of this fear, they got me convicted by a judge devoid of conscience, who had been declared unfit for judicial service by the Supreme Court in 2004. The Al-Qadir University project had been running long before the agreement between Malik Riaz and the NCA. Neither our cabinet played any role in the Al-Qadir Trust matter nor transferred this amount to the Supreme Court. The cabinet only approved the confidentiality of the Non-Disclosure Agreement so that such a large amount of foreign exchange could flow into Pakistan. The so-called ‘sealed envelope’ can be opened by the government and investigative agencies. Open it and tell the public what’s written inside so that truth is revealed. Zulfi Bukhari had requested to appear in this case via video link or through the embassy because if he came to Pakistan, the court would not protect him, and he would either be arrested or get abducted and subjected to torture like our other political workers. His house was unlawfully raided, his property was damaged, his family was harassed, and he was offered deals (if he wanted a stop to this state terrorism). Shahzad Akbar repeatedly offered to testify, but since the fake government had already decided to convict me in this case, they were not allowed to appear via a video link or through the embassy. Even Shahzad Akbar’s brother was abducted [to force him into becoming a witness against Khan]. The Al-Qadir Trust is a welfare institution through which underprivileged students are introduced to the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Neither my wife nor I have obtained any personal benefit from it. Bushra Bibi was previously jailed for nine-and-a-half months to punish her for supporting me. Dragging housewives into politics is shameful and against our morals and traditional values. Bushra Begum is a woman of strong nerves. She is not my weakness, but my strength. They can file as many cases against me as they want. I will not opt for a deal like Nawaz Sharif or Zardari. I prefer staying in jail over making a deal with them. I will face the courts and emerge from prison through the power of justice. I prefer staying in jail over striking a deal with them. Neither my cases nor my release have anything to do with negotiations with the government or with anyone else. If the negotiation process is sabotaged, it will be due to the government’s lack of seriousness and failure to establish a judicial commission. Our innocent, unarmed people were martyred and their families look to us to ensure they get justice. Negotiations without establishing a judicial commission are meaningless. I instruct Salman Akram Raja and Barrister Gohar to write to the Chief Justice and the head of the constitutional bench, Justice Aminuddin Khan, requesting that our human rights cases be heard on a priority basis.
