Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar: The truth is that we are confronting a new phenomenon. It's not the terror organizations. It's terror states. Terror states are created when a terror organization is taking over a certain territory and controls this territory and controls effectively the residents there. Then it become a totally different thing and it is what happened in Gaza with Hamas. This is what happened in Yemen with the Houthis and this is exactly what happened in Lebanon with Hezbollah. And by the way, it is not only a Middle Eastern phenomenon today. In Africa, we see it as well. We can see it in Somalia. In Somalia, Al-Shabaab is controlling effectively significant parts of Somalia's territories. And we can see this dismantling of states in Sudan, in Libya, in so many places today in the Sahel.

À chacun d’entre eux, j’ai rappelé l’engagement de la France en faveur de la souveraineté et de l’intégrité territoriale du Liban. La mise en place d’un cessez-le-feu robuste, qui doit être respecté par tous, doit permettre d’engager un processus simultané de retrait israélien du territoire libanais et de redéploiement des forces armées libanaises, afin de garantir l’exercice par l’État du monopole des armes. La France est prête à accompagner concrètement ce processus et à mobiliser la communauté internationale dans les prochaines semaines, aux côtés du gouvernement libanais, pour soutenir les forces armées libanaises et répondre aux besoins des populations déplacées.

Hey @AnaKasparian, since you were a coward & deleted this post... let's explain a basic concept that even your basic brain can figure out. First, my OP to you was about how you purposely left out KEY CONTEXT that you felt so brave to add here (for about 5 seconds at least). Second, I can do it too (don't worry, I won't delete it later): Israel should've dealt with Hezbollah the way UNIFIL & the Lebanese Government failed to do a long time ago. If they don't want Israel in Lebanon, they should have figured their shit out a long time ago. Now stay tf out of the way and sit in your corner, bitch. And yes, I said what I said.
