Gene definitely has his opinion and it carries major weight… however it is The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame … not considering it ‘ROCK’ may hold a debatable point but clearly RAP and some other genres of movement are the ‘ROLL’ .. @JasonBeck82 I was oh so lucky to listen to the Calgary series while washing dishes at Amorosa restaurant. I remember screaming when we won. I was mildly disciplined by the chefs for disturbing diners but they knew all wanted to know. What a call by a genius.

And the crazy thing is that going to games with Jim happened again many times after that. Sometimes Canucks games, sometimes Vancouver Canadians games. Sometimes with other hall of fame friends like 'Dr. Sport' Greg Douglas or Grant Kerr or Dan Jukich. Sometimes just me and Jim.

Today has been a hard day. Reading all the tributes and memories of Jim Robson has been both heartwarming and heart wrenching. Let me add my voice to the many. A thread: I lost a good friend today. Who just happened to also be a hero of mine.

@RJHenderson7 Quite clearly this stadium makes no sense in its current location. A new one should have been built in Langley or Surrey a long time ago. It is all a land play including the land under Roger’s.

By my count this puts BC Place with 8 concerts in there for 2026. Last year they had 3, 2024 they had 4 and a 2 day concert festival in there. Again not sure where all these concerts/events are magically appearing to make up for the Caps leaving.

Ok … this was fun … in Denver for the AFC Championship Game and ran into a fan in a ⁦@BramptonJrA⁩ sweater headed to the NLL game. Special for me as my Dad is the last living member of the Excelsior teams that won three Minto Cups in 1957, ‘58 and ‘59.
