Courage has usually defined Liverpool’s play, especially in Europe. Courage, not caution. Wanting the ball, wanting to take the game to the opposition, embracing the challenge. There was little courage in Liverpool’s set-up, actions or substitutions against PSG. Sad to see. #LFC

Have always tried to back Martin Zubimendi but now patience is fading away quickly. Yet again it was nowhere near a convincing performance from Zubimendi as he looked so slow to pass and close down Sporting players in midfield. Rice had to make up a lot of ground to cover some of Zubi's responsibilities. Almost played a dreadful pass to Raya similar to the one he did against Man Utd but this time Raya managed to clear the ball. Though he produced a spectacular finish for a goal ruled out for offside, his overall impact on the game was dull. He has to get his sharpness back for rest of the games.

I hope you have seen the difference between King Kai and Viktor Gyökores in the box. If you haven't here is a basic explanation. First touch brilliance. King Kai receives the ball, makes a perfect and light first touch, intelligent as it is, it gives him the space and beats his opponent, while retaining position. He now has the ball, and on a one on one situation simply because of how he handled the fist touch. He then shoots with an inner-foot, thigh spread like the technique of a penalty shoot. He scores! Viktor Gyökores, obviously, will make a heavy first touch that makes him lose possession, distance on the ball, while also retaining position with his opponents. He is only good on tap-ins. This was a tight game, and it has been won by classic King Kai. We needed a player like him to break the ice, especially when Viktor's only shot was a baby and Sunday League one! Have a good morning! 60 million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again!

Arsenal had their character questioned. And they responded well. Sporting a threat at home (1st home loss since August) and Arsenal handled it. Good result, mature performance, defensively resilient, no mistakes, Raya’s safe hands, Havertz’s clever feet and Arteta’s subs worked.

Our left side needs a major upgrade.. trossard was got the whole 1st started the 2nd decent got subbed. Martinelli came on and apart from the assist was ghosting and not helping out on defense. To win titles you must give more body language isn’t reassuring

@PaddyArsenal If you are struggling, you don’t understand football and should just watch and enjoy instead of assessing players. Martinelli has been excellent all season.

Struggling to process that Martinelli cameo. He did the opposite of what he usually does in every action. Was so technically secure and cut in every time instead of head down on the outside

@Afcmix Easily. Havertz is just coming back, but already has 7 goals/assists in 600 mins or so of football. Vastly superior to Gyokeres rate even though Havertz is not yet fully fit and is mainly being used as a sub and in midfield. Better than Gyokeres in every way.

Me personally I would rather have Kai Havertz over Gyökeres in the remaining fixtures. Does anyone agree with me?
