@snc if someone is dunking and not adding value, i block or unfollow them. it's not hard. making these utopian policy decisions feels like a bunch of college sophomores trying to moderate a BBS forum.

Between the 500 character limit and the inability to set images to render as thumbnails, my mastodon feed looks like tumblr and I'm not happy about it.

@BruceLevenstein I totally understand, it seems like a drastic measure, but I somehow am also excited to see where this goes.

@snc I can see how it stops dunking behavior, but I'm not a fan of my functionality being limited in order to deal with bad actors. Saying nothing good comes from quoting is absurd.
