Congratulations to our New Members inducted today into The National Honor Society at Southside High School @NatHonorSociety

We are so proud of our ASTRA Club students at Southside High School! These amazing young ladies helped support the St. Jude Radiothon with WQSB 105.1, raising an incredible $2,331 this year. 🎉 Together with the community, the telethon raised over $350,000 for St. Jude

We had 16 FBLA members compete in an interview competition at The Alley. Of our 16 competitors we had 5 advance to the second round!! Luke Olson, Hannah Maddox, Hannah Westcott, Grace Brackett, and Micah Little. Hannah Maddox came in 2nd place and Grace Brackett won 1st!

Congratulations to Senior Hayden Hollis, who was awarded the Patriot Pipeline Scholarship to Marion Military Institute. Hayden earned a congressional nomination from U.S. Representative Mike Rogers.

Help us congratulate Daylin Smith for being named ACCESS Student of the Month! 🎉📚 Daylin’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence have truly stood out. Because of her achievement, she is now in the running for ACCESS Student of the Year—an incredible honor!

We are proud to recognize Henley Green for representing our school this weekend at the Capstone Leadership Academy at The University of Alabama!

The results are in and we couldn’t be more proud of our Southside High School FCCLA members who competed in STAR events at the 2025-2026 Alabama FCCLA State Leadership Conference! This was their first time to ever compete! NINE of our ELEVEN students that competed were TOP 4!!!

🏆📚 STATE CHAMPIONS! 📚🏆 What an incredible day for our Southside High School JV Scholars Bowl Team!!! Today their hard work, dedication, and brainpower paid off in a BIG way as they went undefeated at the JV State Tournament and finished as the #1 JV 6A/7A team in the State!!

Southside FCCLA is State Leadership Conference bound! Wish these students good luck as they compete in STAR events! We are so proud of all of their hard work! 🌟❤️🐾 Montgomery, here we come!
