This is NOT an anti Catholic post. I am a happy, new Catholic. My reading of early church fathers and study of Luther and the reformation left me OUT of the Presbyterian (and earlier Baptist) church into Catholicism. Any bad faith response will be ignored.

The amount of anti-Catholic vitriol I experienced at a YOUNG age by people who had been wildly misinformed by non-Catholics is too much. I’m all for hating, but I think one should hate based on accurate facts. For example, Catholics don’t worship Mary. BUT they sure act like it.

It sure was a day when I learned about the Rapture. I’d also been raised to be modestly dressed but the hairstyles+clothing of fundies weirded me out. And the praise and worship… and MORMONS… meanwhile they call us weird and evil. Girl, at least I could mix fabrics.
