@chuckuddin Commissioning art can be very frustrating because of this. Most won't provide a clear deadline, and you end up waiting long periods of time with no update
I cancelled one comm I had when they just told me he didn't feel like working on my comm, and said he'd get to it eventually.

theyโll say something along the lines of โyouโre the fastest artist i ever commissionedโ all the while i just provide the bare minimum. have discipline please, art isnt even my main job these days, im a mechanic that draws, how am i providing better service than actual artist?

the amount of artist that take professionalism lightly truly saddened me. i donโt get commission all the time, but asked all of my clients, not one ever have to wait for their product, bcs i believe in providing good service. and it shocked me everytime someone comm me/-

Iโm so tired of seeing artists I commissioned over a year ago (almost two years) not finishing the art I commissioned and just watching them post new art pieces all the time and the responses I get are: โIโm sorry, Iโll get to it after *insert life event*โ Or โIโm sorry, I am on hiatusโ And โI canโt right now, I donโt have the energyโ I donโt mind waiting, truly, but when I see you guys posting art and not working on the art I commissioned over a year ago (almost two years), it kinda just sucks. Artists, please finish the art people commission you. Just because they are willing to wait, it doesnโt mean they will wait forever. I really donโt want to ask for refunds but at this pointโฆ
