why do we ask the disenfranchised to enfranchise themselves?

men manage projects and get promoted; women manage projects and are questioned if they're really _all that_ technical. implicit assignment of proficiency; i feel like i am always digging myself out of a hole

where have i been? why haven't i been tweeting? i'm super angry about being a woman in tech and it never felt right to publicly drag my company/team/individuals/whatever. still scared to "name and shame" so idk if it'll ever publicly surface.

@krees that’s a good idea! I’ve also been able to take some time to see it from a distance now and write it more generically than “Vennifer Jan felt personally attacked by Joe Schmoe”

@sugargreenbean Maybe you could frame the scenarios generically so you can still describe the problems without implicating anyone specifically.
